The east coast of Jutland offers you a fantastically varied nature with many small paths and nicely situated hiking trails. An unforgettable experience is a visit to the fascinating cliffs at Stenhøj Strand (Staksrode) or a walk through the park and along the small forest paths from Vejle Fjord Centret (Stouby) down to Træskohage Fyr. From the small fishing village of Snaptun there is the possibility to take the ferry to the islands of Hjarnø and Endelave, where you can observe the beautiful surroundings and the rich bird life with a picnic basket you have brought along. Also experience the cozy harbor ambience in Snaptun or Juelsminde. In the harbor of Juelsminde you can eat very well at the 'Fiskebistro', among other places. The area offers excellent opportunities for fishing and deep sea fishing. For families with children Pøt is perfectly situated only 1 hour drive from the famous Legoland and the exciting lion park in Givskud.
