St. Jean-Pied-de-Port is 10 minutes away. The owner won’t be there, but my trusted contact will welcome you; if you arrive late, a key box will be available for you. Toaccess to the house: when you arrive in the village, you’ll see a Basque pelota wall on your right; continue straight ahead for 40 metres until you reach the war memorial; turn left, cross a bridge, then immediately turn left; go 100 metres, pass under a tunnel, turn left—the house is the 5th on the right, number 342
