In Århus, for example, the open-air museum Den Gamle By (The Old Town), Tivoli Friheden and the new sophisticated art museum Aros, while in Silkeborg it is recommended to visit, for example, Northern Europe's largest freshwater aquarium, AQUA. In the vicinity is an outdoor swimming pool with children's pool, to which all cottages in the area have free access (open May-August). Nature is also a real treasure trove of experiences. Here, the hilly landscape, alternating with vast forests and numerous lakes and river courses, is captivating. Here, monastery ruins bear witness to the customs and culture of the inhabitants.
