Here you have plenty of space inside and out and a marvellous view of the fjord. The breathtaking plants have been planted by a gardener, so you can see something blooming here at any time of year. The property is fenced and suitable for your children to play in. Two friendly Shetland ponies graze in the neighbouring pastures, they like company and can also be stroked. There are two large activity rooms with a pool table, table football and a dartboard to entertain families or groups of friends. One of the two rooms/halls is suitable for ball games, as the floor is marked out with courts for basketball, volleyball and football.



The atmospheric village of Hjarbæk is located in the beautiful surroundings of the fjord of the same name in south-west Himmerland. The surrounding countryside has a natural charm, with a small country lane leading from the house to a 35-hectare conservation forest that is perfect for walking. Don't forget your picnic basket to enjoy a snack in the countryside. In the cosy harbour of Hjarbæk, special dinghies - Sjægten - lie gurgling on the quay. The annual Sjægten Sailing World Championships are held here in week 33. Next to the harbour is a child-friendly beach with fine white sand. Away from the paradisiacal conditions for water sports, your children can spend many hours here building sandcastles and collecting shells and stones on the beach. Experience picturesque sunsets that colour the sky and the sea gold. The area around Hjarbæk Fjord is a wildlife reserve with otters, herons, kingfishers, bats and seals.



You can also take a trip to the Hjerl Hede open-air museum, which is transformed into a living museum with workshops and kitchens during the summer months. A 10-minute drive will take you to the Hjarbæk Fjord Golf Centre, which has an interesting and varied 27-hole course laid out in 3 x 9 holes. You can also visit the old provincial town of Viborg, with the cathedral church as a special landmark, or Skive, where you can sail in old wooden ships or visit castles, manor houses and museums. Last but not least, the Mønsted lime pits and Daugbjerg are also very interesting excursion destinations.
