2 BEDROOM COTTAGE

Enjoy our spacious and cozy 2 bedroom cottage with well equipped, full kitchen, dining area and comfortable living room. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. Free onsite parking for 2 cars. Relax on the patio with seating and gas grill. Washer and dryer are on site in the cottage.

We are dog friendly, any size! 2 dogs max. At time of booking, please let us know if you are bringing one dog or two dogs along. The fee for one dog is $115. The fee for two dogs is $165.

Our 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 6 (1 king bed,1 queen bed and 1 futon in the living room). Beach chairs and umbrellas, cart, and beach toys included! Super fast high speed internet and WIFI that never disappoints. Books and games to enjoy, as well as cable TV.

We hope you'll love our location as much as we do! There is easy beach access via our deeded path located just a few houses down the street or you can walk to Stump Pass Beach Park located around the corner and enjoy the day there walking on the beautiful nature path and stroll the beach searching for sand dollars, seashells and shark teeth. Grab a kayak and enjoy the day on the water. Walk or take the trolley to several restaurants that serve up delicious food and tasty drinks all day long. End the day watching the most beautiful sunset you'll ever see and then enjoy nightly live music right down the street.

(Our Manasota Key Beach House is a duplex with the choice of the 1 bedroom cottage or the 2 bedroom cottage. Or rent both for a total of 3 bedrooms that sleeps 8 people)

Unfortunately I was disappointed with the cozy cottage. I contacted owner various times regarding lack of cleanliness, cockroaches, filthy grill. Never heard back from owner. Also, furniture is old, dirty ,and smells. Requested partial refund , and of course never heard from her.

Loved Manasota Key

The property was very nice and we loved Manasota key. Very cute street. We did a lot of shark tooth hunting and found hundreds of the small ones. A beach cart was provided that made it easy to bring lots of stuff down to the beach. Also, the Stump Pass Park (short walk) was very nice. We brought our two dogs and though they were not allowed on the beach we did bring them a couple of times in the late afternoon (we had seen many other dogs being walked on the beach) and had no problems. The property owners suggestions for restaurants were very useful as well. Overall we had a wonderful experience. My only note would be that it would be good to have a little more toilet paper. With myself, my wife and three adult children the one backup in each bathroom is not quite enough.

December Stay

The property was not clean when we arrived. The floors had dust/hair along the trim throughout the house, the bathtub in the hallway had hair in the drain, and the spout was cracked/broken which was a hazard for our young children during bath time. The hallway bathroom’s drain cover was also broken and came out during bath time. We scrubbed the backyard patio table so we could use it for dinner. We did appreciate having beach toys, a cooler, and beach towels at our disposal because it was less we had to pack or buy.

Mom and daughters

Very comfortable. Everything needed was there. It was easy access to the beach. The beds were very comfortable. Should maybe have throw rugs inside the doors to help catch the sand. We wiped our feet on the outside mats and didn’t wear our shoes in but the sand got in anyway.
