The cottage is located in the cottage settlement at the end of a road closed to through traffic. It invites to a relaxing vacation for the whole family. A nice, bright atmosphere prevails inside. In front of the kitchen and the living room is the terrace, the kitchen terrace has morning sun and this gives a view of open fields. In this area you can take beautiful walks. Back home, you can relax in the sauna. On the Hornsherred peninsula there are many child-friendly bathing beaches. There is enough space for everyone to enjoy the outdoor life all year round, whether the sun is shining from a cloudless sky or the autumn storms are raging. For fishing enthusiasts, Vellerup Vig is a good body of water to catch pollack (dinghies are rented) and there are good opportunities to catch garfish on Roskilde Fjord at Crown Prince Frederiks Bro (remember to buy a fishing license). Frederikssund is a small cozy town with good shopping facilities. The town holds annual Viking Games, at the festive end of which you can join the table in Valhalla with good food and entertainment.

Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

WIr haben das Ferienhaus nur zum Übernachten und Frühstück genutzt, ansonsten waren wir unterwegs. Die Lage ist gut für Ausflüge im Norden von Seeland. Die ruhige Lage bedingt ein paar Minuten Fahrt bis man aus den Siedlungen raus ist. Die Betten waren recht schmal und teilweise auch kurz. Ausstattung war ok, Verbrauchsgegenstände wie Spülmittel waren nicht vorhanden. Viele Gegenstände in der Küche waren von außen fettig. Zwei schöne Terrassen zum Frühstücken (Schatten oder Sonne je nach Geschmack). Für uns passte es so prima, der Preis erscheint ein wenig hoch - war allerdings auch sehr kurzfristig gebucht.
