My husband and I booked for a romantic fall staycation and it was fantastic! The place was super cozy and had a beautiful view. I especially loved the hottub, which was on the back patio overlooking the lake, and in an enclosed Canopy with zippers to keep the bugs out in the summer and the rain and leaves out in the fall. Also loved that we could bring our 2 cats with us. Would definitely stay again!
We loved that we could moor our boat so we could easily fish whenever we wanted and then have a nice soak in the hot tub. It has all the amenities you could ask for and more for a great price! We'll be back again!
It was a perfect place for a getaway for 2. The amenities, hot tub on back deck, lakefront with dock, lights to mention a few. Relaxing, serene, wildlife. The host was friendly and accomidating. We Will definitely be back:)
We stayed from July 2nd to the 8th and appreciated the home, amenities and location. We brought our little bass boat and caught Largemouth Bass and Bluegill (catch and release).Fireworks displayed on and around the lake on the 4th went for an hour and a half.Played cards, dominoes and learning Majong.Visited two supper clubs and enjoyed the food and drinks. Thanks to our hosts who have made us feel so much like home.
great tiny little place to get away and de-connect and relax. deck is great in the morning & evenings and the hot tub is a nice touch to soak and relax.
Great place to unwind!
The house was very clean and nicely laid out to accommodate my husband and fur baby . It had plenty of linens and we were able to find everything easily. The setting was beautiful and relaxing.
We loved the "tiny lake house". It was just perfect for us and our 2 dogs. The house was clean and the property was just what we wanted. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and the deck was perfect for the dogs. We rented a boat and enjoyed fishing and touring the lake. We are going back in October.
From the moment you pull up to the property, you are greeted with an overlook of the beautiful backyard and lakefront below. The lakefront sun rises and sunsets are worth it itself! Inside the tiny house, you feel the cabin-up north feel with decor that truly gives you the vibe of being on vacation. 10/10 would stay here again!
We had a great time and really appreciate the little touches that made us realize that our host appreciates his guests. It was great to have the deck with a gate which allowed our pets to be secured. Thanks so much!
We had a lovely stay at the Tiny Lake House. Owners are accommodating and quick to answer any question we had during our stay. Area is quiet and house has a spacious deck off back with gate so pets and kids are secure. The house was clean and well stocked with all the necessities of home for staying in and cooking. Of course, we also enjoyed a few breakfasts at the Pioneer Family Restaurant and a few dinners at Crystal's Wood Lake Supper Club at the recommendation of previous guests. All were delicious!
This property was great. It was everything we were looking for when wanting to get away for the weekend. The property was incredibly clean, the listing was exactly as offered, the neighborhood is nice and quiet. The host reached out about a month in advance to go over everything to expect with the property and answer any questions. The hot tub and fire pit were awesome. Tons of firewood provided by the owner. It was a great weekend. Hopefully we will be back in the future. Thanks!
Had a great 25th Anniversary weekend at the lake. The property had everything we needed. Had a few beers at the Tall Pines Resort, met some of the friendly welcoming locals. They will point you in the right direction for anything you need. Took the kayaks out on the water and relaxed by the lake. Thanks for a great weekend. Will definitely be back and we’ll book that pontoon ride from Boats n Bobbers!
The property was perfect for our quiet getaway with our dog. The house has all the necessary amentities for a glamping experience. Having evening fires by the lake was very relaxing. The furniture by the fire pit was a little weathered so id recommend bringing a camping chair. You are located right next to the boat launch. This makes for a bit of activity in the afternoons but can be convenient for launching your boat or a bit of entertainment watching the boating activity pass by! The water in front of the cabin has a lot of seaweed, but if you get passed that towards the sand bar island the water of the lake is very clear!
Overall this property was exactly what we were looking for. Also the available wood for campfires is an awesome perk not having to worry about finding wood to purchase!
Small place but worked for two people. The home had nearly all things you need and the hot tub was nice. Unfortunately the lake area in front of the house was weedy when we arrived but it was easy to boat out to the middle where it was sandy. It was good for a quick getaway.
This was our third time staying at the house. New improvements were great. Love the screened awning over the hot tub and the new ramp. Our dogs love it there too. Seems like home now.
This Weekend stay was what we needed. The Home was immaculately clean, the deck was the best place in the house. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. The lake had great fishing as well. Will rent from Darryl again at another of his places!
