Marmande, the capital of tomatoes, 20 km away, with its historic stones and the slopes where the AOC Côtes du Marmandais vines grow, is particularly splendid in spring. In summer, book an evening in Castillon, 35 km away, to witness the fabulous Battle of Castillon, which will take you to the heart of the Middle Ages.
