The property was DIRTY and the promised amenities were NONEXISTENT.
When we arrived at the property it took us an hour+ to get into the apartment because the host gave us the wrong code to enter the unit. We tried contacting the host company, calling, messaging, and emailing them during normal work hours and we could not reach them at all. Finally, the landlord (who does not work for the host company) helped us get in to the apartment because she could contact the host company directly. WE RECEIVED NO APOLOGY FROM THE HOST COMPANY!
Once we entered the apartment we were shocked to find that there were no towels nor soap as promised on the listing. It was disturbing and unhygienic to find a half-used roll of toilet paper sitting on the toilet upon entry. GROSS! The dishes were unclean and there was human hair all over the mattress and provided blanket. The property was NOT AS ADVERTISED.
To make matters worst, the host company was unreachable, unfriendly, and more importantly unprofessional. They disregarded our complaints and fought with us over everything. There is no such thing as the customer is right to these people even though we had sufficient photo evidence of the hairs, the dirty dishes, half-used roll of toilet paper, and so on. DO NOT USE WELKEYS GOING FORWARD!
