We really enjoyed our stay the property was warm, welcoming, and very clean!!! The host was very nice and easy to get a hold of. There was so much to do at the house and plenty of space for everybody. Very easy check in and check out process and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a very relaxing experience!

This is the place you want to stay with a large group! Super clean, so much space, and absolutely beautiful! The owners are the most responsive and accommodating you will find on VRBO! So many memories made! Already planning the next vist!

Words fail at how amazing this home was. We rolled in with a crew of 28 and there was room for all. Far and away the most well appointed home we have ever stayed in. With three full kitchens a tv and board games in every common area this is as family friendly as it gets. From the boat dock, to the seating areas, kayaks, local food, the locals and just the overall experience was stunning. The host communicates quickly and even allowed us early check in due to our flights being moved around. I would personally recommend this rental to every single person I know and would happily make this an annual trip.

Water fun

Our family group (age 1-96) had a fantastic stay - everyone loved the lakefront, especially the ample shade provided by the boat house. The house is well-stocked and ready to walk in and enjoy. A great place to relax!

Beautiful lakefront property for large groups.

We had an amazing vacation and made memories to last a lifetime! The hosts are quick to answer questions and did everything they could to ensure we had a wonderful time. A glitch with the listing description before it was updated was resolved respectfully and admirably. This was a wonderful place for our family of 26 to spend time together and enjoy the lake.

The property was all it was advertised and more. It was the cleanest VRBO/ lake house we have ever rented ( this is our 17 th year renting lake houses, first time at lake Gaston) The owners were engaged and helpful providing us some details about the lake and locations of grocery stores, boat rentals, etc The configuration of the houses and multiple kitchens were very helpful in our meal prep for 28 or so. The boat dock was unbelievable with a large deck area for hanging out, and a great large area undercover with high top table and chairs, adjacent to a private beach area with a dozen or so beach loungers. The multiple kayaks and paddle boards that were included were a great bonus and well used by the teens and young adults. The deck area at the main house, had seating with tables for 15 or so, and was adjacent to the kitchen/ dining area which also had seating for at least 12 or so. I can’t say enough about the overall property, the value for the spent, and the owners excellent communication and genuine interest in delivering what they promised and our group enjoying the lake and property.

Big family home

Great property with 3 separate living areas and 3 kitchens. Paddle board, kayaks and beach area were a nice addition to our stay. House was clean, linens were fresh. Only downside were the multiple hornets and wasps constantly around us. We had a lot of stings and this was unfortunate. The cove was wonderful for swimming and just hanging out with the kids.

Work Retreat

The leadership team for my company spent a couple of days at this amazing lake side property. It was perfect for a larger group. The owners were excellent at communicating prior to the stay to ensure that we were prepared with everything from parking plans to meal planning. This is a beautiful home in a prime location on the lake. We enjoyed the beautiful view and all of the amenities offered at this home. It is a 10! Highly recommend it!

Fabulous place for family and friends

We had two families of three generations at the lake; kids from 4 months to 16 yrs and the property was great for all. The dock and beach are a wonderful place for all the kids to play. The water in front of the beach was perfect for the little ones and the cove is nice for the older croud. The bikini top and bottom worked out really well for the families with infants and toddlers. The lawn was great for cornhole and lawn darts. The cove is nice and quiet and has a beautiful view of main lake too. The house is well equipped with all the amenities, and extras. Overall we could not have found a better place for our group! Thank you again for such a wonderful vacation!

Great Time Together

Our extended family of 25, from 1 year old to 82, gathered at this amazing home for a wonderful week in June. The home has everything we could imagine: 3 fully stocked kitchens with everything needed for cooking for a large group, comfortable beds, multiple gathering spaces inside and out and hideaway space for alone time. The covered dock with plenty of chairs and shade was a favorite spot and tie up for our boat. The teenagers enjoyed the WiFi and endless card games and outdoor skill challenges. The many extras provided (toiletries in the bathrooms, spices in the kitchen) were enjoyed by all. We swam in the lake, kayaked alone or in a parade, fished, played games, sat around the campfire watching the fireflies, and made memories. We can’t wait to come back.

Truly a Lakeside Retreat

We held a family reunion here the second week of July, with some hot, humid weather. We could fish and swim right off the dock (kids, teens, and adults), the canoes and kayaks were well-used, our 1 year-old even attempted to paddle on his own in a small kayak. Lawn games were a great touch. The outdoor deck was great for meals, and the dock for evening gatherings. The three living spaces are well stocked, beds are comfortable, air condition worked great! Enough space for 28 of us. We decided not to rent a boat (many little kids), and found there was more than enough to do at this "waterfront retreat". As kids get older we might come back and do some boating as well. The communication with host was great, so responsive and kind. While there wasn't a large indoor gathering space for the entire group, we made the living room in the main house work. A great place to stay. Highly recommended!

Incredible place for family reunion!

Our extended family converged from different parts of the country to what became the perfect platform for some wonderful memories. Prior to arrival (and upon arrival) the owners were super helpful and responsive. Once at the home we could not believe how clean the home was! The accessories (inside and out) were well thought out. The layout of the three connected units gave us sufficient elbow room but not so much we couldn't find people. Visibility of the dock and lake from the deck and yard was perfect and relaxing. Other extras like lots of coffee pots, plenty of fridges, a new grill, plenty of fresh bedding, and even a foosball table made us feel like we were staying at a friend's house. Outside, the use of the various boats and canoes was so fun! Topping it all off, the use of the new fire pit was a great way to spend cool nights. Thank you Steve and Dena for providing such a great place to relax with our family! -Ryan
