This Farm apartment is a cute space from which to visit the local area. So convenient to have 2 bathrooms. Denise made sure we had everything we needed. Great to meet and see the animals!

Beautiful country setting, with horses, sheep and a porch to enjoy the view. The home was spotless and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful. We enjoyed meeting them and look forward to another visit.

Wonderful stay!! It’s quiet and beautiful, with easy access to hwy 1 to see other sites in Maine. We will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to this gorgeous state.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Birch field Farm. Our hosts Denise & Bruce were so accommodating and the farm house had all the amenities for a lovely time in a beautiful area. We had the opportunity to feed the horses and see the other farm animals. Denise showed us how to spin wool and also had a great dinner in town at the Narrows Tavern. Great stay on our way to Bar Harbor and highly recommend!

Our stay at Birch Field Farm was very nice. Denise and Bruce were very friendly and personable. We participated in feeding the animals and spent time picking wild flowers with Denise while the horses grazed around us. The sheep were as sweet as anything! Everything was close by and the farm was easy access to RT 1. We felt very welcome there.

We loved our stay at Birchfield Farm! We wanted to spend a couple of days exploring different spots in the midcoast Maine region, and this was a great central spot that was beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. We enjoyed the farm animals and Denise was so kind, giving us a fiber tour and spinning tutorial! We had a great trip and will definitely be back.

The Host was fantastic!! Very friendly and made you feel at home. The unit was an older country farm setting, very clean & peaceful. The bedrooms were upstairs and for someone with disabilities, c ould be troublesome. Also, the kitchen area was interesting with the fridge upstairs. Overall we really enjoyed out stay!!!!!

We were traveling with 2 dogs and pets were accepted. Unfortunately our dogs are not accustomed to steps which they had to do to go up to the bedrooms. Also it was very hard to fix their meals without a kitchen area. The hosts were wonderful tho and we really enjoyed the farm. We went to Moody’s one night for dinner and just had a “fair” meal.

The host went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to help us experience the joys of the property, including a fun horseback ride for my son. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our one-night stay. One thing to keep in mind, especially for anyone who may have difficulty with stairs, is that the bedrooms are upstairs while the bathrooms are located downstairs.

Denise was amazing, and the barnyard experience (her animals) made it EXTRA SPECIAL. All in all, a great place and we all left with many unique memories.Re: upgrades, the only things I would change are that the refrigerator should be downstairs, or else move the coffee maker, etc up to the room where it currently is placed, and make a small little nook where people can sit, etc. Also, instead of a couch, maybe a pull-out sofa? Otherwise, it was perfect....
