The holiday apartment is located in a detached house built in 1998 and is furnished in the typical local style. The property is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in a residential area. The domicile is popular also because of its quiet and sunny hillside location. Available for shared use: lawn for sunbathing, sunshade, sun lounger, barbecue facilities, and garden furniture. Washing machine is in the basement.

The landlord lives permanently in the house but uses a separate entrance. The holiday apartment BAL FON 024 (4 people) is located on the ground floor. Access is via a side street (paved). Parking (for 2 cars) on the property and the street in front of the house.

Spacious apartment with short walk to Lake Balaton

We spent 4 nights in Ms. Kerti's upper apartment which is very spacious and well appointed. It was very hot weather during our stay, so the apartment also was very warm. She did give us a fan and there was a nice cross breeze at times which helped. The neighborhood is very quiet, except some nights when there seemed to be a lot of dog barking. There are some nice views from the main bedroom window. The WiFi is not very reliable, so we were not able to get much remote work done. The walk to Lake Balaton and the shops is about 15 minutes. There was a great Farmers/Flea market on the Saturday that we were there, not sure if that is every Saturday. But if so, would plan for more time to spend there. We also enjoyed the ferry ride across the lake. There were a lot of bicycle riders as there are bike paths around the lake and very good restaurants down by the lakefront.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Fonyod und haben uns die Umgebung vom Balaton angesehen. Auch der Trip nach Budapest war von Fonyod aus gut zu fahren.

Uns gefiel, dass wir im oberen Stockwerk waren, von wo aus wir eine sehr schöne Aussicht hatten. Wir schätzten auch, wie geräumig und sauber die Wohnung war. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und der Spaziergang zum Seeufer dauerte etwa 15-20 Minuten. Es gab einen Parkplatz für uns, was wichtig war, da wir ein Auto hatten.

Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und die Vermieterin (deutschsprachig) ist sehr sehr freundlich. Ausstattund der Wohung ist super. Backofen wäre noch toll gewesen. Lage ist auch super. Ein kleines Manko hab ich trotzdem. Leider sind alle Matratzen sehr sehr hart. Selbst für jemanden der gerne "hart" schläft. Sonst wirklich alles super.
