It was a great place to stay and where it was. What stood out to me the most that I loved was that they had a Wii. It was a good surprise. The house felt very welcoming and it was easy to understand. Check in and check out.

This Cabin was so beautiful and perfectly decorated for Christmas. In general the Cabin is extremely well decorated and taken care of. The owners definitely put in the work. Everything works great and there was no surprises of any kind ( Broken utilities). I would definitely recommend booking this place for your family.Respectfully Jones family

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Their home is very nice and has everything you need. The owner is very nice and very accommodating. She had the home decorated for Christmas. The only drawback for us was the parking area was not plowed good so ice built up on the road causing us fall but other than that we had a wonderful time and will rent it again.

Great Family Getaway

This beautiful home is clean, spacious and has all the amenities plus more. The bedding, towels, pillows, sofas were extremely comfortable. Everything was neatly organized and appropriately labeled. Instructions were clearly given and provided. The welcome basket was a nice gesture, especially for my kids. The arcade room was a hit! Jenna/Bryan were awesome hosts! Jenna responded immediately to all questions and kept us informed with snow conditions and provided suggestions. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! Great home, great neighborhood and great hosts!

Nice owners.

Great communication and beautiful home. The only issue we had was finding a place to unpack our clothes. With all closet and dresser drawers locked we had to live out of our suitcases. Even that was tight. Everything else was beautiful and we definitely recommend staying here because the kindness and communication with the owners.

Great Experience

Everything about this experience exceeded our expectations. Communication with the owners was straightforward and clear, everything was well cleaned and presentable, almost everything you could need was provided (e.g. soap, towels, kitchenware, coffee filters, water purifier carafes, etc), and instructions on how to use the televisions, fireplace, thermostat, etc. were labelled and easy to follow. It's also dead quiet at night (except for the sounds of the frogs echoing up from the lake) which was exactly what we were looking for in a wilderness retreat! The only downsides that we ran into were since this is in the mountains there wasn't much for a yard, which made pottying our dogs difficult. Our options were only dirt and gravel, both of which had nasty thorny plants that left burrs on both of our pets every time they had to go out. We were able to remedy this problem by buying some fake grass from a hardware store in Big Bear, but even then it took them some considerable getting accustomed to. Just something for other pet owners to consider prior to their stay. Parking was also unexpectedly on the street at the bottom of a downhill curve. Fortunately our SUV wasn't hit at any point however. I would recommend this property based on our experience.

Nice escape to nature

There was a lot of attention to detail at this property. The furniture and decorations all fit the property perfect. Everything was comfortable and it had everything we needed for it to feel like home. Kids really enjoyed Arcade, board games and all the toys in kids room. We also walked dog in neighborhood and was very pleasant, including amazing sunset one evening. It was a really fun time at the cabin (comment from my son). We may come back in summertime too as it looks like good area for outdoor sports and fishing.

The Overlook

We were very happy upon arrival, everything was what you saw online. The decorations were perfect for a cabin. We really enjoyed ourselves. They provided majority of what you needed which I didn’t expect. Everyone we met was nice on our walks. We would definitely come again.

Amazing cabin!!

It was exceptionally clean with new appliances, newer furniture, fluffy pillows and very soft, comfortable bedding. The cabin was tastefully decorated and fully loaded with entertainment: arcade games, foosball table, board games and lots of toys for little ones. Major bonus points for providing Apple TV and phone chargers on every floor and installing baby gates at the top/bottom of the stairs on each floor. These definitely came in handy as we had our 3 year old in tow. Great views from 2nd floor deck. Minor complaint would be parking. There is no driveway or garage. Tandem street parking only in front of cabin. We enjoyed our stay so much, we will back!!
