Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
The place was a nice place to stay. It was very clean. However for eight people it did not seem to have enough towels or toilet paper. Also I feel that the listing was not truthful. It said that they had a hot tub, which was technically true. However the hot tub was non-functioning and had been that way for quite some time. The owner said it was being worked on but that seems to have been excuse. Also it mentioned fireplaces which are not actually fireplaces but electric heaters under a mantle with a picture of fire. All in all we had a good stay and made it work. If we had stayed longer then there would have been less satisfaction.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin/house. There was plenty of room, rate was reasonable and it was a few streets away from the Parkway at Pigeon Forge. The property manager was quick to repond when we had an issue with a broken toilet handle when we first got there and had it fixed right away. Would definitely recommend!
This stay was perfect for us! Location is great and off the beaten path, but close enough all at the same time! Clean (hot tub could have been a little cleaner, but we still got in!) we would come back for sure!
This cabin was sparkling clean and so nice. We were beyond impressed. The location is so amazing, nothing is more than 15 minutes away. We would 100 percent stay here again!
Excellent location away from downtown but yet very close to all downtown attractions. Good layout for family. Very quiet area. Best communication from a Host that I’ve ever had! Definitely recommend!
This property is brand new, clean and is perfectly located just off the beaten path of the Pigeon Forge attractions! The house has plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Our family enjoyed the hot tub, the games in the game room loft and relaxing on the decks. Thanks for a great stay!
This property is in the best location - seemingly in the mountains, but a short easy drive to the strip. It was a pain to initially get to due to Pigeon Forge traffic, but once there it was amazing because we were in the middle of everything. My only complaint was there was only seating for 4 in the living room (small couch and recliner) and with a party of 7 I wish there was more space. But honestly we spent more time out exploring than sitting, so it was okay. We would stay here again!
Curt is awesome and extremely helpful! The cabin is so pretty and well stocked with what you need. It was decorated for Christmas which was wonderful. We spent Christmas there my whole family had a wonderful time! We felt right at home and the neighborhood felt safe. Thanks for allowing us to rent this cabin for our Christmas family getaway ❤️🎄
The cabin was very nice and remote. The downstairs bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was welled stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub and view. We experienced snow, rain, clouds and sun in the 4 night stay. Great communication with the property owner. Planning on returning!
We have stayed in this development before and greatly preferred this rental which had flat parking with enough space for two cars (for some rentals it's very inclined and would only fit one car). We also preferred that this house was just 2 floors versus others with 3 floors. The location is excellent with easy access to the parkway. The kitchen and dining area is large. We brought our own detergent so we could do laundry. I felt the king bed was comfortable but the twin mattresses were pretty awful (just felt like metal springs with minimal padding) and our kids complained. The HVAC was very strong so you could definitely keep a comfortable temp. The spa was easy to use and had good heating and jet pressure. The main issue was that the internet was completely out for 2 of 5 days and on the other days it often went out for 10-60 minutes for seemingly no reason. Response from the host sometimes took several hours to half a day and left unanswered questions. So three little kids at a place with basically no toys and no internet was rough. Overall it was a good value.
Cabin was exactly how it appeared online. Floors were a little dirty, like they needed a good mopping. But they weren't bad. Only 1 trash bag and 3 rolls of toilet paper. So we had to buy some ourselves. Not a big deal. The most disappointing thing was the hot tub. It never got hot. We even had 2 maintenance guys come look at it and neither one fixed it. Hot tub never got hot so we couldn't enjoy that. We were pretty bummed out about that. But the cabin and location were very nice.

Thank you for your review. I will make sure that the cleaners mop the floor better. I am sorry about the hot tub. I had the first maintenance guy there and he thought he fixed it by correcting where you set it to economy.. When that didn't work the hot tub guy came out. He said that you had shut off 3/4 of the jests to the tub. With the jets closed the water can not circulate and thus can not heat the hot tub. Once that was corrected the hot tub heated up.
Badger Run was the perfect house for our family week in pigeon forge! The house was clean and the kitchen has everything needed to cook. The neighborhood was quiet and just a short drive down to all the Pigeon Forge fun!! We will definitely be back!
My sister took her bridesmaids to the smokies for her bach trip. This cabin was absolutely perfect. The owner is great with communication and told us exactly how to get to the house (the GPS struggled to get to the house). The house once we got inside was amazing. There was nothing that we had to go out and buy other then food and water. The hot tub worked perfectly and even though it was around lots of other cabins it was extremely private. If I come back to the smokies I would absolutely rebook. It blew my expectations out of the water.
