The mild coast welcomes its guests who want to enjoy the mild beach life here, where the Kattegat shows its friendliest side. The area near Hals and Hou is ideal for children of all ages, because here you can romp on an 8 km long white sandy beach without any traffic. The hilly landscape with its beautiful forests invites you for refreshing walks and in the cozy harbors of Hals and Hou you can watch the passing ships with a real Danish ice cream cone in your hand. On the nearest coast there is a beach meadow. As the nearest sandy beach we can recommend the bathing beach at Øster Hurup.

Alles in allem, hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt.Zum Start gab es für die Kinder eine Schatzsuche und war genau das richtige nach einer langen Anfahrt. Die Ausstattung ist super, es ist so gut wie alles an Utensilien vorhanden. Dass im Haus und herum das ein oder andere Tierchen unterwegs ist, ist zu erwarten. Im feuchten Sommer waren es unzählige Schnecken. Im Haus selbst war alles sauber, nur hier und da die eine oder andere Minispinne.Einen Stern Abzug gab es für:- irgendein Tier lebt unter dem Dach und rumpelt Nachts von rechts nach links. Kontakt hatten wir keinen, das Dach ist dicht.- beissende Insekten haben uns das Leben schwer gemacht. Mit Mücken kann man ja umgehen, aber blutige Wunden nach einem Biss macht keinen Spass. Kein Makel am Haus eher am Ort.- Spielgeräte sind massig vorhanden, leider aber stark in die Jahre gekommen. Das Trampolin ist schon sehr ramponiert.Schade ist auch, dass der Fjord an der Stelle leider nicht zum Schwimmen geeignet ist. Man kann als Erwachsener etwa 150-200m maximal Knietief reingehen. Dann folgt leider eine sehr intensive Gründecke mit Algen. Das Wasser ist aber sehr sauber und angenehm. Ein Wasserspaziergang klappt super.
