Northern Djursland with its charming landscape and shady forests is an oasis in all seasons. Enjoy the fun beach life and the tranquility of fishing. Do not miss to visit the many castles and manor houses in the inland. The ancestors of the Danes also appreciated this fertile area. Even today you can admire the many prehistoric monuments. An experience for young and old are the tropical biotopes in Randers Regnskov, the amusement park Djurs Sommerland, the exciting aquariums in the Kattegatcenter like the Ebeltoft Zoo & Safari and the animal park Skandinavisk Dyrepark. Do you appreciate a museum visit are the frigate Jylland and the Glass Museum in Ebeltoft recommended. Also the Agricultural and Manor Museum in Gl. Estrup or the Djursland Museum are worth a visit.
