Prescott has an average of 275 days of sunshine per year and four mild seasons . The year-round activities have made it one of the top destinations in the Southwest. Prescott has been recognized as Arizona’s ‘official’ Christmas City so in December there are lots of fun things to do. You can be a part of the many people who stroll around the square to listen to the free, live, local music featured in every downtown shop for Acker night. A music festival like no other! In addition, you won't want to miss the spectacular tree lighting on the Courthouse Square and our Electric Light Parade. There are dozens of antique shops, boutiques, stunning art galleries, and restaurants. Enjoy the nightlife of Whiskey Row, as well as 4 live performance centers: The fully restored Elk's Opera House (c1915), the Prescott Center for the Arts, Stage Too and Yavapai College Performing Arts Center.
There are also many golf courses in the area.

Prescott is also known for the World’s Oldest Rodeo in July, the Prescott Bluegrass Festival in June, dozens of arts and craft shows (some juried), and the Cowboy Poets Gathering.

Improvements needed to match the price
Entry has problems, needs ramp,it is not for handicap people or small dogs or at night.. Screen door has major problem with alignment. Cut back on your drip system or run it twice per day. Wasting of water. I had emailed three time about the two dogs & payment for them. Both A/C units need replacing with Min. Splits. The noise they make is atrocious. Old technology does not match the price per night. Otherwise it is clean & nicely equipped.. Found dog sheet last day in TV cabin. But we always bring one or two. Road noise is bad, but you are stuck with that. Fix the Door, Step down, AC and you have a fine place. Thank you for letting us stay at you cottage.

Really nice
Very nice, clean, close to everything, private parking, shared patio was great for meeting other guests, small grassy yard. There were no sheets for the pull-out and the dog sheets were not where advertised. We did find them the second day along with some toys amd poo bags - so sweet. It was comfortable and clean. Well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils. AC worked nicely. Will stay again!

What makes this property unique

What I love about this property is that it reminds me of a simpler time. Quiet, tree lined street where you can take a walk in the cool early mornings and evenings. A nice quiet area in the back that can be enjoyed by guests and their pups. Being close to the downtown area with lots of things to do and then being able to return back "home" to relax.
