Belle Maison, Nature et Cévennes

Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation with a breathtaking view. You will live a nature experience in a charming hamlet in the Cévennes. Built in 2022, the house is 140m2: wooden, ecological, sunny. It is pleasant to live in with its parquet floors, terraces, venetian blinds. As a bonus: water garden with ponds, old tennis court, direct hiking departures.
We are a family of 4 and offer to rent our friendly house during our holidays.

You can park 2 to 3 vehicles right next to the house.

The main living room consists of a living room with large sofas, vinyl records to listen to, large windows, a table for 8 and an open and well-equipped kitchen.

The windows and bays have centralised shutters that can be opened as you wish in a louver according to the sun.

The first bedroom is a master suite: exit door to the terrace and a bathroom with shower, bathtub and sink. The bay above the bathtub allows you to enjoy the landscape.
The second bedroom to the north has a sink, a double bed.
The third bedroom to the east has a sink, a single bed and a pull-out bed, a desk.

The fourth room is planned to be an office and independent work space with a door that leads to the hallway of the house and a door that leads to the outside. It is equipped with a Chateau d'Ax sofa bed, with a real comfortable mattress that is easy to open.

A second bathroom with sink, shower and bathtub allows you to be comfortable.

The house opens onto outdoor terraces, one to the south is covered and equipped with a table for outdoor dining and the other to the north is outdoor with garden furniture, lime blossom, mulberry and raspberry bushes.

Water gardens: in front of the terrace there is a pond with goldfish and plants. Below, an old swimming pool is transformed into a water garden with plants and comet fish that eat mosquitoes and are very pleasant to look at.

On the farm, available: a tennis court, used but functional with games (use under your responsibility): trampoline, tennis and badminton rackets, disc golf, handball or football cage.


You will find in the house, books, a rowing machine. The house is equipped with a water softener and purifier.

The toilets are equipped with a washbasin.

On the side of the farm, there is a friendly dog. It is therefore a corner of nature, with its calm and its sounds: cicadas, birds, frogs, etc.
Several hikes start from the house in the surrounding hills and towards villages or hamlets. We will be able to give you the directions.
In summer, the house can stay cool if you open the windows well and close the shutters at the right times. We will give you the simple advice in the welcome booklet. Several pedestal fans are available, one of which has a water tank.
Our farm is labelled by Cévennes Tourisme "Label committed to Sustainable Tourism" level 2: Eco-involved".

The house is located on the edge of our farm, we grow spirulina in 2 greenhouses with basins. You will hear a slight sound of water, like a fountain. We will be happy to show you around if you feel like it.
If you come with pets or small children, you will have to take care to show them where they can go outside. We will continue to work on the farm during your stay, but we will be in another space, you can be quiet in the house, the terraces and the garden with a pool reserved for you.
We will feed and drink the cats in the house, but they are used to living there, so you will see them on the terraces.
