Nice home in Schmuggerow with sauna

Schmuggerow Castle is a former small castle which today opens its doors to you as a very special vacation home for 36 people (including 3 beds for children only) and is therefore ideal for group trips or private celebrations.



The property was built in 1871 by the well-known architect Paul Otto Brückwald in the neo-baroque style. It was a stylish gift for the daughter of Count Maximilian von Schwerin. The former castle, which welcomes you on the edge of the Uckermark in the beautiful countryside of Western Pomerania, was rebuilt and restored in 1997 according to old drawings and reports. The property is located on the edge of the village in a rural setting, surrounded by large fields and forests. Today, the building once again exudes the flair of the grand Wilhelminian era and is only rented out as a whole.



The vacation home has 9 suites. On the first floor there is a ballroom with a 'Swedish room' for drinking tea together, playing cards or watching TV. From the hall there is access to a large terrace with a magnificent view of the park-like natural landscape. From here you can listen to the fantastic birdlife and enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. In the basement there is a vaulted dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a small bar for celebrating with friends in the evening. Here you will also find the billiard room, a table tennis table and a TV room with a separate staircase to the 'Swedish room'. Sauna, showers and WC's are also located there.



In the basement there is also a cozy home cinema with a large screen, so that boredom is guaranteed to be a thing of the past should the weather not play along. On the 18,000 m² property there is a small pond and a pavilion with garden chairs and a barbecue. Here you can relax with the whole group and enjoy the beautiful weather. The swing and an outdoor pool in summer are perfect for children, while the hot tub promises relaxation. The property is heated with district heating from a biogas plant. A private lawn offers plenty of space for soccer and fruit trees are available. Fitness room available.



A vacation at Schloss Schmuggerow is ideal for exploring Western Pomerania. Whether to the beaches of the Baltic Sea, to the nearby beaches of the Szczecin Lagoon or to the fashionable seaside resorts on Usedom: Schloss Schmuggerow is an ideal starting point for discovering a unique landscape and history. Here you can spend your vacation in a stylish ambience, hold family celebrations or simply meet up with friends. Treat yourself to being the lord of the castle for a while!



It takes about 3.5 hours to get from Hamburg to Schloss Schmuggerow and about 2 hours from Berlin.



Pets free of charge and Internet connection in the house.

Bed linen and towels can be ordered: 16 euros per person.

Costs for energy/oil/water are to be paid on site according to consumption. For this a

payment on account of 150 euros per day.

Final cleaning of 650 euros is also payable on site.
