I booked this accommodation about 3–4 months in advance for a stay from December 24–28, 2025. We were two families (six people) traveling from the US and the UK to Marrakech. The airport custom and immigration officials asked our address -“where are you going to stay”, we showed the address and the map. Even though I saw a strange expression on his face - He just let us go. However, outside the airport we took a big Uber van to go from airport to this VRBO listed property address.
Upon arrival, there was a big confusion regarding the exact address. The location provided in Expedia/VRBO listing was generic and close to the airport, and even our Uber driver could not find it. There appeared to be communication issues between Expedia, VRBO, and the host, which caused some stress upon arrival.
Fortunately, after several attempts through Expedia/VRBO, the host responded and asked us to drop off our luggage around 12:45 PM. Once we were able to communicate directly with the host via WhatsApp, everything went well.
After the initial confusion, the stay itself was very good. The rooms were clean, the host was extremely helpful, and all essential amenities were provided. While this was not an inexpensive accommodation, we were satisfied overall and felt positive about our stay by the end. I thanked the host, he was a very kind man.
