)Major structural renovation including wall removal and the addition of a brand new high-end gourmet kitchen. The property will be available for rental July and August. This 7500 sq. ft historic oceanfront mansion was originally constructed by the Governor of Pennsylvania John Tener. The home was recently featured in Northshore Magazine as an award winning fine home. Located on the pristine white sands of Salisbury Beach. Breath taking views of the 3.5 mile white sand beach from every room. Private stair access to beach directly in front of house with parking for 10 cars in the driveway. Brand new washer & dryer. Watch the sunrise over the ocean or watch the sunset over the bay from the 2 large decks. Pool table and bar located in lower level, WiFi internet access, flat screen tv's with cable, central air conditioning and luxury chaise chairs. Linens NOT included. Due to a recent incident, DAY VISITORS will now be LIMITED TO 10. Any gatherings over 24 people require an additional security dep. and event fee.
Located 1 hr north of Boston. Minutes from the quaint seaside towns of Newburyport, Portsmouth, NH and the amusements of Hampton Beach. Fine dining at Seaglass, Salisbury Beach Center- Lobster pound just around the corne

Amazing vacation

The set up and location of this house are absolutely to die for. They cleanliness and quality of the beach are second to none and helped make for an amazing week for the family. Bob was a spectacular host who was easy to communicate with and always with a response the few times I reached out. I highly recommend this for big groups of any type that are looking for a spectacular experience.

Beach House

Great house for large groups. The beach is wonderful and you can walk for a couple miles in each direction. The house itself is nice but could use a little TLC. Bob the property manager seemed to be a nice guy, unfortunately we saw him a bit too much as we had to call to replace light bulbs, fix the dishwasher, unclog a sink, broken door handle, etc. The downstairs bedrooms are ok for kids but a bit musty to put adults down there. Overall we had a wonderful week with great memories. Best restaurant we found was Tuna Striker, a 3 minute drive from the house.

Awesome spot for extended family under 1 roof

We had several households come together under 1 roof and it was magic. With 8 adults and 4 kids, there was space for all, and the access to the beach is incredible. This was our 2nd summer renting here and we hope to do a 3rd. Gorgeous home, lots of light, beautiful decor, comfortable, and plenty of kitchenware.

Great family spot!

Had a great week with our family and young kids. Right on the beach which makes it easy for those with little ones. Easy to get to to restaurants, grocery store, etc.

Location can't be beat!

We stayed in the house for a week in mid-August. The house is huge and had plenty of room for two families (or more) to spread out and have their own space. The shuffleboard was great fun and the audio connectivity throughout the property made us feel like we were staying at an exclusive resort with music constantly playing. You also cannot beat the proximity to the beach and the view of the ocean. The beach itself would get quasi-crowded on hot days but not in front of the house, as the public access points were a few blocks down on both sides. Bob was also very communicative and has a good check in and check out process set up. We couldn't recommend this house enough and hope to rent from Bob again in the future.

Great beach loacation

House was great, lots of room for everyone, lots of sitting areas, and the shuffle board was a huge success...tournaments every night. We had babies and adults, location was perfect for on and off the beach. Was in the middle of the pandemic, so did not get a chance to go out anywhere, but is convenient to Newburyport and Hampton. Owner was available for questions, and we had a great week at the property.

Great beach house for large group!

You can't beat the location of this home, the kitchen and beautiful appointments on the main floor with awesome views of the ocean. We had a great time and would rent again.

Amazing week

My family gets together once a year with about 23 of us. 17 of us stayed at this property and it was truly a slice of heaven. The house is huge and the beach is just out the back door. Older family members enjoyed watching the young ones from the comfort of the deck chairs. Others went back and forth from beach to house. There were two large refrigerators and at least two bar fridges. The house length table shuffleboard became a source of family competition and fun. We almost past on this property because of the limited number of bathrooms but thankfully we didn’t. The bathrooms were much less of an issue than we feared and I can only imagine if they had a few more bathrooms the price would definitely have increased dramatically for this house. As we packed up on the last morning my wife saw glimpses of a whale with a quick blow from the spout and a glimpse of tail. All while standing in the living room. We will definitely be back

Summer vacation July 2019

We found the location to be great! Walking distance to downtown for the kids. Far enough for the adults. The house is right on the beach even on the weekend and busy times, our little stretch of beach remained relatively quiet. The house was very clean and the decor was lovely! One of the best features, there was off street parking for 8 to 10 cars depending in size.

Family Reunion success

Our kids live in Seattle, DesMoines,Denver, St. Paul, MA and NH! WE managed to get 6 out of 7 under one roof along with 6 grandchildren for my husbands 65th birthday and one granddaughters 5TH . What a success! The house is perfect, comfortable and large enough that we were not under each other's feet! The home is clean and comfortable. And what a treat for the kids to be at the ocean. They have never seen it before. It would be good to have the washer/dryer working with all the kids but there is a laudramat not to far away and with 8 bedrooms it is to bad it did not have just one more bathroom. THe family wants to make this a family tradition each summer. Cannot do it 2012 but will definately try for 2013!
