Spacious and clean

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights while we went snowboarding at Crystal Mountain. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay for the price. It was very clean when we arrived, and I was surprised at how much room there was for more guests if needed. The pool table and hot tub was what we were looking forward to and it did not disappoint. We brought food to make breakfast and had everything we needed. The little heater in the bathroom was a great bonus for me too. I messaged a quick question for Jacob, and he answered within the hour. Diner 44 down the street had great food and great service. I would recommend this cottage to anyone and would consider staying here again. Thanks again Jacob!

Overall disappointed. Poor communication and lack of professionalism from the host. This is my first bad VRBO experience.

Golf Weekend

Only thing good were the beds. First we get there at check in and the host pulls in because the toilet was backed up in one of the bathrooms and the hot tub needed to be cleaned. This should have been taken care of before we arrived. The toilet was backing up into then bathtub. This was a huge inconvenience because we had 8 people having to use one rest. room. The hot tub was vacuumed out and still was gross the chemicals were so strong it gave us all rashes. The cleanliness was a 1. We took pictures of everything because it was so bad. The “AC” was not actual AC it is a window unit that had an inch of dust in the filter and the hose continuously fell off of the back so all of the bad air was blowing right back into the house. This place says remodeled that should be a very loose term and the only thing that seems to be remodeled were the bath tubs and appliances. The walls,.doors and ceilings along with ceiling fans covered in dust. Light fixtures exposed in bedrooms with no covers and only the TV in the living room turns on. Over all it was only good because of the beds. I would not recommend this house unless it went under major deep clean. Oh also there was a large drug paraphernalia on the grill. THERE IS ZERO attention of detail to a place that has large potential

Up North MI

This house doesn’t look like much on the outside and is right on a main (fairly busy) road, but the inside has been redone, all new appliances, mattresses (comfortable), etc. The location is great, right near many places we like to go when up north (IE: Iron Fish Distillery, Lighthouse Cafe, Point Betsie Lighthouse, etc). Outside kept up with flowers, fire pit & chairs, grill, woods out back. It’s a nice place to rest your head at night.
