Beautiful updated home with 100’ on Portage Lake - 20 minutes to Arcadia Bluffs

Completely renovated lake front home on beautiful Portage Lake with spectacular sunset views! We have spared nothing! Portage Lake has unique channel access to Lake Michigan, and our home is minutes away from the Onekama marina. We have 100' of private lake frontage, and expansive views of the lake. Located on a quiet street, this location is ideal for your family. This cottage has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 8. Two bedrooms offer stunning lakefront views with queen beds. The third bedroom is a bunk room with 2 bunk beds, and can sleep 4.

Each bathroom has been completely renovated, complete with fresh new towels and fixtures. Bathroom 1 has bathtub/shower and bathroom 2 has walk in shower with bluetooth speaker that can sync with your phone.

Our beautiful kitchen has quartz countertops, all new appliances, and every item you could possibly need to make your stay perfect! The drip coffee maker has a Keurig built in. A large custom table has seating for your entire group, and is the perfect space for meals and games together.

There is a brand new washer and dryer, dishwasher, Smart TV, WiFi, and keyless entry.

We've thought of everything you might need during your vacation including lots of family games, lawn games, several life jackets for adults and kids, 3 stand up paddle boards, 2 single kayaks, 1 tandem kayak, fishing poles, beach towels, Weber grill, Solo stove for bonfires, outside tables, and more.

The location is absolutely perfect! Just off M22 (most scenic road in northern Michigan and gateway to northern MI), we are a short drive to everything.

Just as advertised! Comfortable, beautifully decorated, lake house. Well appointed with plenty of nice bath and beach towels, dishes, kitchen appliances, grill, indoor and outdoor family games, and watercraft! Family enjoyed them all! So relaxing to sit on the dock in the Adirondack chairs! Lots of priceless family fun! Owners very nice and responsive.

Perfect getaway

The pictures are exactly how the property looks. Enjoyed everything this house had to offer from the kayaks, tubes, mat for the water, fire pit, and very accommodating inside as well. Will definitely recommend.

"Girl's" Getaway.

My group of 7 women, were very pleased with our accommodations. Location was conveniently located, situated on beautiful Portage Lake. The outdoor space was a great place for coffee or cocktails. The inside was tastefully decorated and very clean. Will definitely consider staying again. Hosts were very helpful.

End of summer escape

Such a beautiful cottage for our family get-away. My husband and I, along with our 4 children, swam, fished, went kayaking, boating and tubing (nearby rental), hiked dunes, tubed down a river, and overall had an amazing time! The sunsets were breath-taking! Highly recommend this lovely property. The owners were amazing to work with and took very good care-we had everything we needed.

Our 2nd time here and the experience was just as great. Top notch communication from the owners. Appreciate the new dock along with some other minor updates. Fantastic experience!

We had a great time at your lake house! It was decorated really well and the set up for a family was just about perfect. You had everything we needed in the kitchen except for a blender, but that was not a big deal at all. Having the kayaks, SUP's, and Lily Pad was the difference maker for us and the primary reason we plan to rent your place again in the future. Thank you!

End of Summer Family Trip

This was our first time at the property. We had four adults and three kids age 5-7. Everyone enjoyed everything about the stay. The place was very clean and had everything needed. We cooked most of the meals for our three days and had everything needed plus some extra supplies for things we forgot. It was a colder weekend but the boys all enjoyed the lake. We will definitely stay again and probably longer next time. Very small and quiet area but a short drive to anything anyone wanted to do. Thank you for the hospitality.

Onekama Audition

We had a great time in the beautiful lake house. The home was lovely, the location perfect. Biking the Betsy, meals at the local eateries(those able to open), as well as using the kitchen and grill made this a fitness and filling week. The view from the deck/windows was beautiful and we were blessed with watching an Eagle grab a fresh catch as well. The only downside of the week was the missing ladder from the dock/sea wall, made entering and exiting the water rather eventful for 4 60+ year olds.

Perfection in every way!

My family rented this property for our summer vacation. It was one of our best rentals ever, and we hope to come again soon. Why? The lake (lots of room for boats, never too crowded, good fishing), the cottage location (directly on the lake with an amazing view, and on a dead end road so there's no traffic), the cottage itself (a great layout, lots of windows, beautifully decorated, top quality materials, small thoughtful details), the equipment with the rental (3 kayaks, two paddle boards, floating tubes, tubing tubes, a portable fire pit, ladder ball, bocce ball, life vests, fishing poles), and great owners (good communication and very fast responses to inquiries). We all agreed we'd love to come back again, and will definitely arrange to rent this cottage again. Thanks so much, Tim & Kristen!

We enjoyed our stay at this lake house. It's located on a quiet street. The lake is larger than I had expected. The water is clear by the dock. We enjoyed using the kayaks. The home is nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. The kitchen has everything you need. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family ranging in age from 60 to 5 had a great time. The house was the perfect size for us and the location was on a quiet street and convenient to Manistee and Onekama. The lake water is clear and fairly shallow around the dock for our grandkids to swim. The fishing was great too. The house is stocked with everything you need and there are lots of outdoor/lake toys (kayaks, inner tubes, life jackets, etc.). We’ll definitely be returning next summer!
