A couple small problems, but owner was quick to respond to emails. The property is nice and very convenient to DC and Baltimore. We would definitely stay there if we're in the area again.
Location and size our house is awesome!! Place could use a little maintenance to fix minor issues and improve experience. But overall very happy with visit.
We checked in after a long drive and had no trouble accessing the property immediately and were even accomodated with an early checkin which was extremely helpful. A few minor things were needed (more towels etc) but the host was responsive and provided them shortly after we made the request. We found this home to be comfortable and clean and suited our needs perfectly.
Check-in was easy. Neighborhood seemed safe, quiet, and family-oriented.
Townhouse was clean and big enough that four adults had their own bedroom. We had three vehicles so the two reserved parking spaces (and one visitors spot) were excellent! Everything we needed (linen, kitchen utensils, toiletries, etc.) was there. We even mistakenly left a bag behind and the owner worked with me to meet someone at the house to retrieve it. Communication was excellent. Already looking to re-book at this time next year!

Great Location But!!!
The house is big and spacious. Location is great! Close to everything and the highways. Bedrooms were good sizes. Showers was the biggest challenge. Seem like some plumbing issues with hot water and pressure. Fourth bedroom seems to be next to utility room and you can hear HVAC and water from the whole house. Pantry amenities very lean. No toaster, no foil, no hand towels in bathrooms, no towels in the kitchen, no doorbell, no curtains (blinds missing pieces).
The property was close to lots of eating and shopping (grocery). Easy to find and access to major roads.

Clean but safety issues
The property was visibly clean. Floors, bathrooms and bedrooms were tidied and orderly. The front railing is rusted through and I almost fell of the front porch (about a 5-6 foot drop). The back door could be pushed open even when dead bolted. Mold under the sink in the kitchen and under the center island.
We had a nice and easy stay at this townhouse. It was clean and the neighborhood felt safe. Check in and check out was easy. No issues during our stay at all. A few suggestions we had for improvements are minor - curtains in one of the front bedrooms would be helpful (the room was pretty bright for our son who has an earlier bedtime) and the kitchen didn’t have mixing bowls or many spoons, but overall we had what we needed and it was a comfortable stay. Thank you!
This place was perfect for our family getaway! There was plenty of room for all of us to feel comfortable when together yet spaced out enough for when we wanted quiet time.
Ekop’s place is excellent. Exceptionally clean & tidy. Very nicely furnished and comfortable also. The area is nice and close to everything. Definitely would stay again.
We arrived at this property with our two year old & six year old…my husband went to pick up the groceries I had pre-ordered. The kids & I stayed behind to unpack. As I looked around the place, I saw a lot of electrical outlets without face plates, & noticed some lights not working in the basement. I messaged the owner who said the light bulb WAS working in the basement, because she had walked thru earlier. I told her the recessed bulbs were out. The more I saw, the more I realized this was not a safe place for my family. The smoke alarm has been removed from the first floor near the kitchen, and there was an outlet with no face plate right next to the sink. Many of the light fixtures had no shades on them…& I saw multiple holes in the walls, & a ceiling light was shortened with a zip tie to hold it in place.
We called VRBO who contacted the owner & told them to process a refund so VRBO could help us find a new place. My kids were hungry so we started to make them dinner, while I was on the phone w/ VRBO, and my husband unloaded our groceries into the fridge while we waited for instructions from VRBO on where to go next. VRBO said they needed to call the owner again & have them process the cancellation so we would also be refunded taxes & fees.
At this point we were on hold, & saw some messages from the owner about an electrician coming. VRBO said that we did not have to stay even if the issues were resolved. The owner also messaged us to vacate the premises after the reservation was canceled. While still on hold with VRBO (who was trying to contact the owner but couldn’t get in touch with her), we heard someone knocking at the door. It was the property owner. She insisted we show her the electrical problem areas. I replied “that is a you problem…not an us problem” since we were trying to leave by finalizing our new lodging with VRBO, feeding our kids, and packing our groceries back up. She then told us we had canceled and had to leave…we asked her for an hour to finalize things with VRBO…so she said she was contacting the police.
A few moments later the police were at our door. We let them know about the situation, and they asked how much time we needed to get out. At that moment, VRBO finalized our new hotel, so we told them we could be out in twenty. The owner hovered nearby in her car the whole time.
It’s amazing to us that this listing is still available, as it is illegal to rent a house that’s not up to fire code in this county.
