Quiet Lakefront Cottage

Get away from the stress of the city to our quaint, little A-frame house on Pine Lake, nestled in a quiet neighborhood in historic Montgomery, TX. Our house has two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom down, and a fully equipped kitchen simple with a basic set of pots, pans and dishes. Our decor is modest and simple.
Bring along your own kayak, canoe or paddle board. Sit by the lake sipping coffee or reading a book. Venture out to historic, downtown Montgomery to explore antique shops and taste delicious BBQ or enjoy live theater performances in downtown Conroe.

Perfect spot

Great location

Property is in a great location for access to Montgomery, Conroe, or just a quiet lake visit! Small neighborhood pool a short walk away. My husband caught several bass from the shore while we were there.

Peaceful Getaway

My family really enjoyed this property. Communication with owner was very prompt! It's nestled in a quiet , serene community that offers a private lake for fishing right across the street. It's also located about a mile away from Lake Conroe and local outfitters. Will definitely be coming back for our next lake getaway!

Nice, clean & convenient to Luminaire wedding venue. Would have been nice to have some bottled water and coffee for coffeemaker on-site…or at least a mention that renters need to bring these things?

Relaxing long weekend! Was had by me and my twin teen granddaughters. We played cards and watched movies and slept a little late. Cute little cottage right by the lake and close to everything needed.

Great little gem in Montgomery

A lovely place. Quiet, clean, and convenient. Had everything you would need except a hairdryer. ;) Everything is new including the washer and dryer. Walmart only 2 miles away for a quick trip. Air conditioners worked great and water was hot. Great place to stay with family.

Peaceful setting!

Great hosts!! We enjoyed returning here after doctor appointments in Houston. The fishing was great! Awesome for a short stay. We came for 1 week but ended up needing to stay for 2 weeks and Heather treated us very good! The kitchen staples are very limited so ask about that if you plan to cook. Enjoyed cooking on the charcoal grill! A soft chair or recliner would be a nice touch but most won’t stay as long as we needed to, so the couch is great! Thanks again Heather!! Was nice meeting you and yours! Really enjoyed staying in your cute home! Take care ❣️

Utilitarian. Very clean and useful, but not at all cozy. There was some sort of electrical hub by the porch that emitted a disturbing hum, so we crossed the street to sit near the lake and enjoy the water and the wildlife. The neighbors were downright hostile about it when they saw us there; blinding us with their high beams, revving their engines loudly as they drove slowly by, or glowering at us and ignoring our greetings as they walked a dog past. Would have gladly traded some of the many, many bibles and Christian texts for some simple salt, bath soap or even a nightstand as a safe place to keep my glasses next to the bed. Coffee maker had an impressive mold colony growing in the filter basket. We had to go to the store and buy a cafetière to get by. Lake is beautiful and there are lots of conveniences nearby, although very few coffee shops open on Sunday morning. Friendly communication from property owner.

Beautiful house on Pine Lake

We love this property have stayed here twice. Lovely spot with a beautiful view of the lake. Kitchen could be a little better equipped with a few basics olive oil and vinegar as well as wine glasses and opener. Would be nice if there were 2 side night stands in the master with lamps but all in all very cute and comfy

Such a cozy cabin!

Heather’s cabin was a fantastic getaway spot for my friends and I. The place was squeaky clean which I really appreciate when it comes to renting cabins. Heather was very responsive with all my queries. She was gracious enough to allow us to use her kayaks which definitely made the stay perfect. Highly recommend!

Quick overnight stay

We were only there overnight due to our schedule. Cute quiet place in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the fast growing Montgomery county/ Lake Conroe area. Great communications from the owner!

Our oldest daughter is intrigued by A framed houses. Josh and I love kayaking on local lakes! When we found this house on Pine Lake, it seemed like the perfect combination!
