Custom Waterfront Cabin with Private Boat Dock

Welcome to the Byrd's Nest!!

It is a fully updated cabin overlooking beautiful lake Eufaula! Enjoy great water views from large picture windows in living room as well as from two of the three bedrooms. Or walk out to the enormous deck and enjoy a coffee or glass of wine while taking in the views. Deer are frequently spotted from the deck. The home has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a bunk/game room and a large kitchen featuring granite countertops and double wall oven. Enjoy a long soak in either of the two bathtubs. You can bring your boat and tie it up in the boat dock all weekend. The kids will love jumping off the dock and swimming. The home is conveniently located five minutes off of Highway 69 and Texanna Rd. Come relax and enjoy all that Lake Eufaula provides!!

Amazing Cabin!

Our family of 11 stayed a few nights and it was truly an amazing place to stay. The beds were so very comfortable, everything was there needed for cooking and we loved fishing in the dock! Highly recommend this cabin!!

Dtayed with family members there. Very quiet and peaceful. Had trouble getting in the home when we first arrived and the owner responded quickly and was able to get us in.

Great house in the lake

House was clean and room enough for a big family, kitchen well stocked, kids loved playing in the lake and s’mores by the fire at night. I hope to stay here again

Housing need for special occasion.

The house fulfilled all our needs with family joining from several areas of the country for our nieces wedding. View was beautiful and the house was very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house.

Lake trip with friends

It’s a great house fit us all and was very clean. I think 10am is too early for a checkout but other than that no complaints :) Right across from Eufaula cove made for a perfect night cruise

Family Birthday Trip

We had the best time at Byrds Nest over the weekend. The lake was down but the kids enjoyed picking up SEA SHELLS as they called them lol. The deer in the back yard was so neat to watch. The house itself was fantastic!!! The only complaint I had was I wish we stayed longer. Two nights just wasn't long enough. We hope to come back and stay again...

Beautiful view in a secluded location. Perfect!

If you are looking for a place “just this side of heaven”, you have found it! A spacious and comfortable lake house literally, 96 steps to the water (my nephews counted)! The natural surrounds make it perfect for seeing deer, geese, and other animals. My 5 nephews had a room at one end of the house to stay up and spend cousin time together while the adults could rest in the other side but still close to the kiddos. Our host was amazing and very accommodating to our needs and made our family getaway just what we hoped for! We will definitely be back on our next family outing! -Chris

Great house on the water with doc access!

We really really enjoyed the layout of the home and the size of the rooms. Everything we needed was right there and if we were to need something we wouldn’t have to travel far. The home is on a great part of the lake. Our kids loved everything about the lake home. We parked our boat in the dock slip with no issues. One thing to note is the drive way is not accessible with large trailer or boat. We have a F-250 and a 25’ wakeboard boat. It was not possible for us to make it to the house and turn around. We had to park our truck & trailer in an open lot up the hill form the home.

House Was Great!

Overall, the house was perfect for our needs. For the number of guest the house can accommodate, a third bathroom would be nice but we made it work. My bed was nice and the sheets were quality. Homeowner was accommodating for special request. A few FYI’s: * the walk down (and back up) to the water/dock can be a challenge with loose rocks. Additionally, stacked large rocks make the step up to the dock walkway and they are wobbly. *sitting in the shade under the covered dock, beware of at least 50 active mud dauber nest. *showers not supplied with soap or shampoo…bring your own. *gravel drive leaving the property, 4-wheel drive had to be activated.

Birds Nest

We enjoyed staying at the Byrd’s Nest! The listing was accurate in the description of the house. The house was big enough to accommodate all of my sisters, nieces, and nephews. The only thing I wasn’t absolutely in love with was the parking situation. The driveway is on a very steep gravel drive that can be difficult to drive up and down. The owner did send parking instructions and recommendations in a PDF prior to our trip. However, the gravel driveway is not mentioned on the listing and I do think that it is something that should be mentioned. If you have a small car, etc. it might be tricky to navigate. There is a paved barn area to park in that was helpful for my sisters with smaller vehicles. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and felt as though the house and amenities were accurately described.

Great House-Great Location!

Fall Break at the lake. We love going to the lake over breaks and had the best time celebrating my dad and brothers' birthdays. The house and dock were fantastic. The house was clean, spacious, and well decorated. Plenty of amenities and yet not cluttered. Very comfortable. The bedrooms were large and spacious. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of room for our group of 8 (two kids). The showers are actually much larger on the inside than they appeared. My kids thought the big clawfoot tub was so fun. They had even thought of things even if you had forgotten some bathroom amenities, there was even a high chair we were able to use for my one-year-old. (SO Helpful!) The beach and disc swing was a huge hit for my kids. Highly recommend. Owners were kind and helpful throughout our stay. We did forget to sign the guestbook at the house, so I'll guess we'll have to sign it twice when we go back!

The host was very communicative. The home was absolutely beautiful and having a private fishing dock was a big hit. The teens loved the room with the bunk beds and fooseball table and the other rooms were great for the adults.

The check-in process was extremely easy, the whole house was great as pictured. The kitchen was supplied with all the necessities and a few extras that we forgot. A very spacious home with plenty of room to meet our needs. I housed 7 active teenage boys for a retreat and this place was perfect.
Enjoyed fishing on the private dock out back.

We had a great stay! We brought 10 teenage boys and they loved the bunk room! I think one of their favorite surprises was the Xbox that they played every night when we were exhausted from the lake. The host was so quick to respond to all of our questions. Very clean house and large open area in the kitchen and living room to fit us all comfortably.

We are both small business owners and reside in God's country, also known as western Oklahoma. While we absolutely love our home town, it is quite flat and there are not many trees. We decided to look for a vacation home around Eufaula to enjoy the trees, hills and beautiful scenery. Our kids are ages 14,12, and 9. They keep us busy at ballgames, musicals and church activities. We're thrilled to share our vacation home with you and hope you'll treat it like your own.

The towering pine trees, the natural boulders, the waterfront view, a personal boat dock, the huge deck... These are all things that attracted us to this particular cabin. It feels like you are in the mountains of Colorado while relaxing at this peaceful lake home.
