About this property

Quiet and spacious guesthouse sitting under large coastal oaks. Restful, light filled interiors , very comfortable beds and immaculately kept. Five miles from gorgeous beaches and the old world charm of St Augustine historic downtown. Friendly neighborhood and accessible to beautiful walks along the Matanza inlet. Self check in, private entrance, full kitchen, laundry area and free parking.
FIRST FLOOR:
The sofa in the living room converts into two very comfortable twin size beds. The guesthouse offers a well stocked kitchen, full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. (There is no dishwasher)
Wi-Fi, YouTV and Netflix. Private entrance and enclosed patio.

SECOND FLOOR MASTER-SUITE, BATHROOM AND FULL LAUNDRY:
Please take the stairs to the master-suite and bathroom into consideration before booking.
The master suite is furnished with a king size bed. There is a comfortable sitting area, a work desk and chair.
The bathroom is fitted with a large shower. The vanity area is open to the bedroom and well stocked with fluffy towels, soap, shampoo, hairdryer and again plenty of light!

We live on the property but your privacy is important to us. The guesthouse and the main house are attached but separated by a garage and utility room. However there are no inter-leading doors.

***************PLEASE NOTE: For reservations that fall within Hurricane Season (June 1st - November 30th), we ask that you are mindful of our cancellation policy and monitor the weather prior to your reservation should it appear that your reservation may be impacted.

Unless we are instructed to evacuate or a Florida State of emergency is issued, please understand that we will not issue a refund beyond what our policy outlines should guests choose to cancel outside the policy's perimeters.
If a State of emergency is issued for any reason or we are told to evacuate. We will not be able to host any guest in the guesthouse and a full refund will be issued****************

Great place to stay in and relax. Very close to St. Augustine historic town. Everything went well and instructions were very clear. Would definitely recommend!

St Augustine Homebase

We came to visit family and Pelican Guesthouse was our Homebase for our stay. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, quiet & relaxing space to return to each evening. Best place we have stayed at EVER in over 50 years of travel together

Home away from Home

Good location, clean, quiet, easy directions, good communication and host was accommodating. Bathroom up stairs (could make it difficult for some). Thanks for opening up your place for us, made our vacation.

Top Notch

This was a really nice property. We had a little tussle with getting the key. I like a good challenge! The property is beautiful. To be honest, the TV seating is not terrible comfortable, but I understand the issue with offering extra beds. Just tough to get comfy for TV viewing. If you are older friends like we are, (2 old ladies) you will wish for that upstairs bedroom as that is where the bathroom is located. All in all this was a really nice place complete with kitties. Miss mine at home. Very suggested, lovely property!
