The beaches of Destin are plenty to make you want to visit and the The Palms and city of Destin has everything you need to make your vacation memorable and enjoyable. The Space:
Welcome to The Palms of Destin Resort, where Sea la Vie is the motto!!! This second floor unit provides the perfect getaway with easy access to all of the amenities that the resort has to offer. Sea la Vie couldn’t be easier while staying in this junior suite. The unit overlooks the pool and is easy to access with the stairs and elevator just steps from the door. This makes it easy to go back and forth to your room without waiting on an elevator or trekking up multi flights of stairs. You can let your kids hang out at the pool while you lounge on your private shaded patio - close enough for comfort, but you still get to have some quiet time! This resort has a lot to offer: you’ll find The Bistro restaurant in the main area, a gym, a hot tub, a medium sized heated pool, and a big lagoon-style pool with plenty of room to wade around with your friends. The common area patio allows you to hang out and meet other guests from all around the country and across the globe. Just inside, there are plenty of TV’s and a bar to enjoy the sport of your choosing. The kiddy pool is a lot of fun for the little ones and helps you to wear them out before you put them down for the night. If you wish to spend your time on the beach, you can catch the hotel shuttle straight to beach access where you can enjoy the blue waters and white powdery sands of Destin.

Your entire vacation can be spent within the resort with plenty to do, or you can venture out into Destin, which has even more to offer. In this junior suite, you are centrally located between all of the nightlife, restaurants, and entertainment in Destin. The Track in Destin is just a short walk away where you can enjoy 2 putt-putt golf courses, go karts, rides, and more. Just across the street there is a sports complex if you want to play catch or hit the ball around. Further down the road you’ll find The Big Kahuna water park with water slides and a river float. If you are feeling adventurous you can visit any of the many boat rental shops and take a trip out to Crab Island. During the summer season Crab Island is the place to be! There are a few golf courses in Destin as well, so if you like to hit the links, then you are in the right spot. We all like to eat and there are a lot of options to choose from, whether it is high end at Ruth’s Chris or just a quick bite from Burrito Del Sol.

If you just want to get away to relax, then this condo is the perfect place for you. The condo is spacious and stylish, while making you feel like you are right at home. This junior suite features a master bedroom with a king size bed and full bath. The additional room features a full/twin bunk beds and a full bathroom as well. The living area features a queen size pull out sofa that accommodates 2 more guests. This unit is a 6 guest max occupancy, so you and your family of 5 can come enjoy the beach life to get away from the daily grind. Just short of 5 stars

Overall, this place is great! We had a beautiful view of the pool area from the balcony. We have stayed at other places and I would say this was one of the best. Aaron responded very quickly to one issue we had and it was fixed that day! The only negative that I could find was that the kitchen needs a few more appliances such as a hand mixer, a large stock pot, etc. (If you do not plan to cook in the condo, no big deal). We did have to wash the pans that we did use prior to using ourselves so the cleaning crew may want to put that on their checklist. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome property and great host

We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful experience. Our property manager, Aaron, was incredibly kind and responsive. The property was lovely, and included bonus amenities like beach chairs and toys so we didn't have to pay exorbitant fees for those things at the store or on the beach. The first night we were there, there was a flicker in one of the light fixtures; we notified Aaron and he was there to change the bulbs within 20 minutes. He then proceeded to answer all of our questions and give us excellent recommendations on local spots to visit. We had a tremendous stay and really enjoyed both the property and our interactions with our property manager. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to spend some time at the beach, with affordable rates and an excellent host.

The Palms

The condo was perfect for our stay for relaxation and a baseball tournament right next to the property. The restaurant and pool bar were severely understaffed and we only ate one meal on property the entire stay because of the poor service and 3-hour wait for our food. The pool was a nice size but always had debris in it. We enjoyed the local restaurants and also stayed in and cooked several nights.

Fresh, beautiful California style condo with a pool view. This unit has easy access to the pool as you are right next to the stairwell that comes out right near the exit to the interior of the resort. This unit also comes with complimentary beach equipment so you don't have to rent.
