About Ann Gugle
We are the Gugle family from Waxhaw, North Carolina, which is located close to Charlotte. My wife and I have four children, ages ranging from 17 to 12 years old and they all love Hilton Head!
Ann Gugle purchased this House in 1999
Why Ann Gugle chose Sea Pines
We have been big fans of Hilton Head for many years. We were married in Hilton Head in 1994. My wife's parents live year round in Hilton Head. We bought our home in 1999 because we wanted a vacation property located near family. When we first saw our home, we absolutely fell in love with the breathtaking water view from the back deck and how bright and airy it is inside. The tranquility of the scenery captured us at first and with each passing season we gain a greater appreciation for the natural setting and wildlife.
What makes this House unique
Our home is an oasis of natural beauty and peacefulness in an otherwise busy community (Sea Pines). We like the fact that you can get away from the crowds and have your own slice of peace and quiet even when it is crowded in the summer. We have a private community pool and tennis courts a short distance from our home. We can walk (20 min) to the Harbor Town Lighthouse and the marina. We have shopping and restaurants located within one mile. Our home gives us and our guests a place to get away from it all and yet be close enough to everything you need.

Very nice place to stay. Owners took great measures to make our stay comfortable
This location is perfect for comfort, location, and serenity
This location provides all the comforts of home. In the kitchen, the home provides plenty of dishes, utensils, and small kitchen appliances. There is a small laundry room off of the kitchen with a full size washer and dryer. The home also provides a two car garage where guests can not only park their vehicle, but can choose from a wide inventory of bikes for all members of the family. The living room and dining room include large picture windows that provide a fantastic view of the man made lagoon. On clear days, the sunrises and sunsets off of the lagoon are simply breath taking. The bedding provides exceptional comfort. Finally, my wife and I really appreciated the effort that Ann (the owner) and her father, who followed up on the day after our arrival, made to make sure we had everything we needed and provided great recommendations on places to eat. This location will be at the top of the list when we return to Hilton Head. I highly recommend this home.
This house is located in a quiet neighborhood in Sea Pines, with a large deck on the rear of the house, overlooking a lagoon. The sunsets were amazing!
The house was very clean and comfortable... providing us with plenty of space to host Thanksgiving events for ten people.
The kitchen was well appointed and large enough to have 2-3 people prepping meals while guests meandered in and out the space.
The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were of nice quality.
The weather was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Beautiful lake view!
Nice, spacious vacation home in a lovely residential neighborhood. Favorite activity was sitting outside and looking at the lake. Owner’s father was very responsive and helpful making sure that we had a first rate experience.
I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The house, the view, the pool, the beach, the week was AMAZING!
Within a mile you of the home have access to several hundred acres of the Sea Pines forest preserve with wildlife, bike trails, horseback riding and eco-tours
