Post Hurricane Ida Retreat
Ricky and his property were ideal for myself and 3 other family households that needed a safe haven following Hurricane Ida. The house is nestled in a quiet new gated neighborhood right off of I-10. The security guards were professional and friendly. The large backyard was perfect for allowing the kids to play outside, and watch for fireflies at night in the wood line. Inside there were enough bedrooms and space for everyone to spread out, but still enjoy family time. The home was perfectly located for traveling back and forth from the New Orleans area. Vacationers could easily stay here and enjoy day trips to New Orleans. Pass Christian and it’s surrounding areas offered wonderful activities for the kids. We enjoyed the Model Train Museum and highly recommend the Mississippi Aviation Heritage Museum. There was so much more we could have seen and done. Spending the day at the beach with the family is a short drive down the road. The kids had a great time playing at the War Memorial Park. They loved climbing on the big guns and tank. We loved going to the TBT Butcher Shop and Meat Markets and bringing home some wonderful food to grill. Shopping was so convenient and there is even an outlet mall just a few miles away in Gulfport. We throughly enjoyed having Ricky as a host. Super nice and quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. His home and the area have so much to offer, and we can’t say enough positive things about it!
