Subject to availability, Le Clos de la Fontaine can be fully privatized all year round , a few minutes from Cahors, in the heart of Quercy.
Ideal for 8 people , the house has 4 large bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom . Depending on the size of the group, two additional beds allow for up to 10 people.
You can then enjoy the Clos as if it were your own home: large spaces to get together, the garden, the swimming pool in season, the jacuzzi , the sauna and, when the evenings become cooler, the fireplace.
Everyone maintains their privacy. Everyone gets together when they want to.
And if your idea of a good weekend also involvesA large table, good products and some nice bottles, we can take care of that too.
You arrive. You put down your suitcases. Le Clos is yours.
A house to be together… without being on top of each other
Being in a group of eight or ten doesn't necessarily mean doing everything together.
That's also one of the pleasures of Clos.
With its four bedrooms and four private bathrooms , its large living spaces and its outdoor areas, everyone can maintain their own pace and privacy.
Some will go to visit Cahors while others enjoy the swimming pool. A few will prefer the jacuzzi or the sauna while others will have already opened a bottle on the terrace.
Then everyone will gather around the same table.
Here, there isn't really a set program to follow.
Your stay sets the pace.
A large table, good products, and the Southwest for inspiration
You can, of course, cook and organize your meals as you wish.
But you can also decide that, tonight, nobody cooks .
Upon reservation, we can prepare for your group a generous, seasonal, homemade cuisine inspired by the products of the Lot and the Southwest .
Duck, Quercy lamb, market produce, cheeses, truffles when in season… We prefer beautiful products and dishes that we like to put in the middle of the table to unnecessarily complicated gastronomy.
And then there's the wine.
Located a few kilometers from its vineyards, Cahors is obviously at home .
Depending on your preferences and budget, a good bottle of wine chosen simply to accompany dinner can be perfectly adequate. And if the occasion calls for some more special vintages, we can certainly explore that option as well.
The idea remains the same:
Nothing stuffy. A beautiful table, good products, a few carefully chosen bottles and above all the pleasure of being together.
With an added luxury that we sometimes appreciate more than we imagine:
At the end of dinner, no one needs to get back in the car.
Your room is at the end of the corridor.

We can prepare your meal in advance and make it available to you.
You dine whenever you want, open the bottle that appeals to you and extend the evening at your own pace.

You choose the house. Then it's up to you to decide how far you want to take the fun.

Breakfast essentials are provided, and fresh bread from our baker is available to complete your morning meal.
Coffee on the terrace, a leisurely breakfast, another jacuzzi session, swimming pool, a walk in the countryside or a trip to the Cahors market: No one is asking you to choose too quickly.

to have time ahead of you.
Cahors and the Lot region at your doorstep
If the desire to leave the Clos eventually wins out, you won't need to go very far.
Just a few minutes away, Cahors offers its historic center, its market, its Saint-Étienne cathedral, the Valentré bridge, the banks of the Lot and of course its vineyard.
Following the valley, the road leads to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie , Bouziès and its towpath, then Cajarc and some of the most beautiful roads in Quercy.
Another day can be devoted to Rocamadour, the Padirac chasm and Autoire .
Villages, markets, vineyards, caves, landscapes, heritage and good restaurants: the Lot offers plenty to keep you busy for several days.
And yet, the playing field doesn't end there.

From Le Clos, you can also imagine a day trip to Sarlat and the Périgord , a getaway to Toulouse or a trip to discover Albi before returning home in the evening.
The principle is simple:
You put down your suitcases once and you radiate joy.
No more need to juggle multiple accommodations, arrivals, departures, and repacking suitcases.
You keep your house, your room, and your habits.
And in the evening, after several hours of exploration, returning to the garden, the pool or the jacuzzi before sitting down to eat is also part of the trip.

And each season tells a different story.
Summer
Life largely takes place outdoors.
Garden, terraces, swimming pool, long evenings and meals outdoors naturally punctuate the days.
And when the Quercy sun is particularly generous, the architecture of the house and its cooling system help to maintain a pleasant coolness inside.
Autumn
The colours are changing, the grape harvest is bringing the vineyard to life and the first cooler evenings are gradually making us want to get back to the jacuzzi, the sauna and the fireplace.
Winter
It's another way of experiencing the Clos.
Jacuzzi, sauna, fireplace, large tables and generous cuisine naturally take up more space.
It is also the season for the black truffle of Quercy , its markets and some beautiful gastronomic experiences.
Spring
The garden comes back to life, the days get longer and the first meals outside announce the return of good weather.

Christmas and New Year: your family home
For the holidays, Le Clos becomes your family home .
The Christmas tree is up, the house is lit up and the fire naturally finds its place in the fireplace.
With 4 bedrooms and 4 private bathrooms , everyone has their own space and everyone can gather around the same table.
You can prepare your own celebratory meal, ask us to take care of it, or choose to have it prepared in advance so that it remains entirely between you.
Then comes the sauna, the jacuzzi, a few nice bottles of wine and an evening where no one has to plan the return journey.
And the next morning, fresh bread allows you to start again calmly.
For the holidays, simply choose who you want to share your table with. We can take care of the rest.
