This newly constructed property is complete with all the comforts of home along with a taste of pure Minnesota lake life. Just minutes away from Alexandria, bring your water toys to enjoy a little fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking or whatever else (literally) floats your boat. Enjoy 3 local wineries - one just a half mile away - as well as three local breweries.

Light hiking is available at Carlos state park, just a few miles down the road. Enjoy bicycling? There are miles of bike-friendly roads along with access to the Woebegone trail out of Alexandria. Bring your bike and helmet, we'll have a bike tire pump here for you. Have a fatbike? Bring it up for a winter stay!

Fun for the whole family - including the doggos if you don't want to leave them home.

While we cannot offer boat or other watercraft rentals, we do have local rental options that offer delivery, if you are interested.

Great Cabin Getaway

Property is beautiful! Owners were great and answered questions fast! Perfect lake for tubing and hanging out! Visited local wineries and enjoyed some relaxation!

Fun family vacation.

This was the perfect VRBO for our family. The house was very spacious and roomy for the eight of us, and it was a nice quiet location. Fishing was excellent. Erica was always very prompt with communication. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Lake Home Getaway

This home was perfect for our family with plenty of space for everyone and child friendly. Lake Irene is the perfect size, not too big and not a lot of boat traffic. Good fishing and clear water. My granddaughters were able to catch keeper size sunfish off the dock. The owner Erica was very nice when we talked and made sure we had everything we needed. Being in such close proximity to the public boat ramp was definitely a bonus. We would definitely like to stay here again if the host continues to rent the property.
