Our stay

We had a lovely time staying at this condo for 3 weeks. The location was perfect and the condo totally met our needs! We enjoyed beach walks, local restaurants, and exploring the area. An added bonus was seeing two space liftoffs from the beach in front of the condos. The only negative was not being able to lock the deadbolt from the outside., which would have made us feel a bit more secure when we weren’t there. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful week! This was our first trip to NSB. This condo was great for us! One thing not mentioned in the desription is that we were lucky enough to see 3 or 4 rocket launches from Spacex right from the balcony!! Property security is top notch.

New Smyrna Beach Gem

I really enjoyed being right on the beach. The pool area was beautiful. The property was immaculate. I really enjoyed the two weeks that I stayed there. Also was able to see multiple rockets launch from the beach. Watched sunrise every morning on the balcony with coffee and on most days saw dolphins. A lot of great restaurants and shopping. The shopping center across the street had restaurants and shopping which was very convenient. Hope to come back next winter if available.

Disgustingly dirty apartment.

Pool and beach were lovely. Apartment was filthy and repairs were needed. Don't know what our cleaning fee was being used for! 2nd bedroom was most likely intended to be a pantry/storage room with bunk bed barely fitting inside. Will never return.

I am very confused by this review. Kathy contacted me the day she checked in and said "your place is so nice" and requested to stay an additional night which I accommodated. She made no mention of any problems with the unit. As far as the bunkbed room - our condo is listed as a one bedroom with a bonus room with bunkbeds. Yes, it was 2 closets with the wall taken out and bunkbeds put in. The photos on the website clearly show this.

Very outdated

The beds and bedding were very uncomfortable. The ceilings/walls were very dirty. I have been staying in the area for years and have never had a bad experience, until staying at this condo.

We did not hear any complaints from this guest while she was on the property. The bedding is new, replaced in November and the unit is fully cleaned and sanitized between every guest.

Filthy dirty

Dead roach on the carpet, trash left in the kitchen trash can, hair in the bathroom, sticky goo on the kitchen floor, dirt on the kitchen mat, refrigerator cleared out but shelves not wiped out, used condom wrapper under one bed, towels are flimsy and stained, “washer” on the description means dish washer, not clothes washer. I spoke with the owner who was defensive and maintained that the place had just been professionally deep cleaned and checked by the onsite manager. We could not wait to leave. Just gross.

This guest called upon arrival and first complaint was wifi/tv not working. Maintenance came up within 15 minutes and reset it. She then contacted me again and started complaining that the unit was dirty and wanting to be upgraded. I had to explain to her that I am not a property manager. That this is my personal vacation home. The unit was deep cleaned the weekend before the renter checked in and inspected by the property manager and another independant cleaner. Could there have been 1 dead palmetto bug, possibly - this is Florida and we do treat for bugs and they do turn up dead if they got in the door when someone left it open. the rest is simply NOT TRUE.

Very quiet

Check in was easy at the office. There were signs stating for us to wear our resort bracelets at all times but we will never really asked to show them. The building is only five stories high which was very nice. The room is on the top floor with a beautiful view of the ocean.We just wish we had access at the time of our stay they were working on the pavers and area around the steps down to the beach. We had to pull everything over to the sister location next door if we wanted to get to the beach. There was maintenance taking care of everything from watering the grass to keeping the pool area clean everyday. The staff we encountered were all super nice Floors in the bedroom and bathroom were needing to be swept had a lot of hair still on the floor. We did not contact the owner nor the management to take care of this because I don't like people coming in when I have my stuff all unpacked so we swept it. The homeowner had plenty of kitchen utensils for us to use as well as extra bedding and towels if needed. There were a few restaurants within walking distance as well as a Dollar General market across the street. Door dash even was in the area. My only complaint was per the checkout rules per the building I was supposed to pay for doing laundry. I pay a cleaning fee and feel like that should be included in that fee not me doing it.

Absolutely Amazing!

My best friend and I had such an amazing time here! The condo had everything we needed, and was literally steps away from the beautiful New Smyrna Beach! We woke up to watch the sunrise on the balcony, then watch the sunset right outside our front door. We look forward to returning soon - in fact, we didn't want to leave:) Thanks so much! The view was excellent, as was the location. Balcony setting was great, good way to watch the sunrise. Having both the pool and beach was wonderful. Condo was cosy and comfortable, recliners were super comfy, but needed some updating in fixtures. Attention to shower head, missing grab handles in shower. Toilet height was below current ADA standards. No fire extinguisher in unit. Comfort of 1st queen bed was difficult. Bedroom Fan speed was stuck on one setting. All said, we did enjoy our stay and had a relaxing stay.

Unbelievable views

We spent our summer vacation in this 5th floor condo. It exceeded our expectations. From check in to check out we enjoyed our entire stay. The owners have a closet full of beach accessories that my daughter loved! The condo itself was fully equipped with our every need, only thing we had to bring was the food and beverages. We only had one issue with the TV's not working and the owners were quick to resolve the issue. We loved being ON the beach. There's a market, pizza place (so gooood), nail shop, beach warehouse, and ice cream shop (homemade) right across the street. We visited all and it was great not having to drive anywhere. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. This was also our first time on the Atlantic side and by far the best beach we've visited! We will definitely be back!! Beautiful view-great location

Fantastic view and cool breezes and afternoon shade on the balcony even in August. We also loved the sitting area right by the beach and had snacks and drinks each night there watching the sunset's beautiful sky colors. We were very impressed by the white sand and flat beach that packed down so that walking was great at all times and levels of the tide. There is a Dollar General Market right across the street for groceries and supplies--they also carry nice produce and beer, so we didn't even need to take the car to a grocery store. There is a great breakfast/brunch diner in that mall also. There is a coin laundry right on the same floor, which made it convenient to wash the towels the day before leaving.. This condo was clean, comfortable and all we could ask for!

The property was not maintained at all, dirty pillows, torn bedding, locks did not work.

I was disappointed in the property. Upon entry, I realized that the deadbolt did not work. The lock on the balcony was removed and there was only a wooden bar; additionally there was no screen on the balcony door to allow for air to circulate. The bed sheets had multiple small tears. One of the pillows on the bed so orange from Use and sweat that it was beyond belief that no one in the cleaning process had noticed this when changing the pillowcases. It was a cockroach in the kitchen that I was able to trap and sweep out the door.

Our condo has 2 locks on the front door. Before Hurricane Irma hit in September, we replaced the weather-stripping around the door to make sure no rain would get in. You do have to apply a little pressure to lock the deadbolt, but this is to maintain the weather-tight seal. The sliding glass door out to the private fifth floor balcony has a wooden rod to keep it weather tight also. After replacing the screen door many times in the last 12 years and finding it removed by renters many times, we decided not to replace the screen door last year. There is not a problem leaving the door open for air to circulate if the a/c is not on. All of our pillows are replaced annually and are covered with pillow protectors. It is possible that another tenant left a pillow behind. I spoke with the property manager about the sheets and pillow, he is checking into it as no mention of it was made at the time the renter was at the condo. We were at the condo in September and we did not notice any problems with the bedding at that time. The property has monthly pest control and since this is Florida you may find a very occasional dead bug.

Great access to beach

Good enough for the price! Nice staff and place had fun things to use on the beach except beach chairs. Closet made into bunk beds was a little scary at first but my kids ended up loving it and pretending it was their fort! Would go back again!

The view is amazing! The condo seemed well maintained.

The Wifi provided by the owners was a nice touch, especially for my kids. The complex also offers Wifi, but it was much faster to use the Wifi just for this condo. The kitchen is not upgraded, but well stocked with all the dishes & small appliances you might want. All the major appliances were in good shape and working order. Great space for a one bedroom. My kids enjoyed their own space/privacy in the bunk bed area. It is a room, but only large enough for the bunks. We thought the beds were too firm, but that is a personal issue. That being said, none of us lost any sleep! Overall cleanliness was good. Our family had a very enjoyable time at New Smyrna Beach.
