Stay in the Treehouse Lodge! Hot tub, game room, fire place, wrap around porch!

Secluded private location yet only minutes from downtown Bryson City, Deep Creek National Park, Cherokee Casino and Smoky Mountain National Park. Renovated top to bottom July 2021. Listen to the creek from porch swings as you drink your morning coffee. Drive a mile to a local winery or to Deep Creek for hiking, tubing and waterfalls. 1.7 miles to new Dollar General. 5 miles to downtown for the famous train ride shopping and restaurants. 8 miles to Cherokee casino, horseback riding and Santa's land theme park! Visit Lake Fontana 30min or the Nantahala Gorge also under 20 mins. Location is everything!

3 beds/2.5 baths upstairs (main house) with 1 bed/1 bath + game room downstairs (basement). Large flat screen tv with Dish network cable in living room with new super comfortable leather electric recliners and a basket full of fuzzy blankets to relax by the fire place or catch a movie on a rainy day. DVD players in rooms throughout the lodge with flat screen tvs and tons of DVD's. Each bedroom has brand new comfy high end hybrid beds and quality new pillows with protective covers. Sheets are soft, welcoming and also new!

Kitchen is stocked with all the essentials, dishes silverware, glasses, toaster, blender, Keurig, air fryer, microwave, crock pot, full size stove, dishwasher & fridge. We also stock dry spices, salt, pepper oil etc. We supply paper products.

Basement is separate from main house with it's entrance on first level; could be good for teenagers or separate family. There is a pocket door to separate the game room from the bedroom in the basement.

Basement offers a full bathroom, king bed and kitchenette (microwave, coffee maker, small fridge and plates, cups bowls etc.) We provide games, cards, puzzles, minature arcades and a retro gaming system plus DVD players and DVDs. Large flat screen in basement is visible from bedroom in basement. The retro gaming system comes with hundreds of games. It's a lot of fun. These are throwbacks that do not require signal or internet so even on a rainy day there is plenty of entertainment or enjoy the multi game table set up for foosball but it also has many other game options the kids can play. Look out! Real darts and dart board downstairs! If you want to let the kids go crazy while playing you can enjoy the peace and quiet outside on the double porch rocker right in front of basement room.

Outdoor activities available to you are cornhole, trail ring toss, 6 swings and 3 rockers plus a 6 person hot tub with deck sanitized after every guest. Pool table, large Jenga set, jumbo pong and table shuffle board with picnic table on large covered deck!

Make s'mores by the campfire or cook steaks on the authentic cowboy grill. Firewood is stored in the small woodshed nearby.

Full size laundry available in basement.

4x4 NOT required to access property. 95% of the drive is all paved roads. A short city maintained gravel road (couple hundred feet is all) is required before continuing on our paved road. As with any drive in the mountains there's curves and limited visibility at night. No light pollution! Take your time and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask! We can safely fit 3-4 vehicles and have had many guests with motorcycles and even jetski and boat trailers.

House trained Dogs allowed with pet fee. Pet bowls and cage available if needed. Please bring their own bedding. We have doggie waste bags available in the storage closet under the stairs.

Private location with no other cabins on the property.

Cell service is available you may need to find the best position in the house to get a good signal. ( Metal roof/ mountains) Driveway front porch or fire pit area for some. Free WiFi thru Starlink.

Even though we have the best internet possible in our area through Starlink satellite , it is not like city service.

TV's are NOT the best for streaming; it might work but may buffer or drop at times.... thus why we supply a small blockbuster amount of DVDs for your enjoyment! 😁

Peruse the hundreds of DVDs located in the living room and a few hundred more in the basement. The largest TV is the main TV in the living room and it has dish cable satellite for your television entertainment. Common in the mountains are days with wind and rain that may limit satellite TV and internet service we highly recommend you enjoy the great outdoors and see some of the amazing nearby sights.

This cabin was so peaceful with so much uniqueness. Every inch of this cabin was very well thought out. Wonderful location, many games outdoors/indoors, and great movie selection! Owners responded quickly when needed. We can't wait to go back!

Really neat, quiet place to stay. We really enjoyed our time on the deck in the hammock swings. The cabin was in close proximity to most everything we wanted to do. The owners responded promptly to every question we had. We had a storm roll through resulting in a lengthy power outage. They communicated with us throughout the outage, and they, without hesitation and of no fault of their own, refunded a nights stay. I was impressed. Thanks again!

Motorcycles in the smokies

3 of us for 5 days. The long carport is great for motorcycles and trailer. Great updates to this home and still kept the nostalgia - a great balance. Great location to be a base to explore the smokies. Fabulous communication with owner. Driveway is a bit of a challenge but it is manageable.

Great place!

This was our first experience with a rental vacation house. House is very nice and very well cared for. The deck space is incredible! The ladies really enjoyed the hot tub. The proximity to town and multiple access points to the Smokies was very convenient. Overall, very satisfied with our experience.

The treehouse lodge is the perfect location for anyone looking to spend time in Cherokee and Bryson city. It is just minutes from both. The kids loved the game room, cornhole,hot tub and smores by the fire!

We wanted to explore the Mountains with easy access to Gatlinburg but far enough out we wouldn't go to Gatlinburg every day. The house was great with all the activities provided. Wonderful outdoor areas for rainy days also!

Spring break trip

The Treehouse was great! It was nice to come back to the house in the afternoon, have a fire, and play games. The kids were never bored. It was nice to be able to cook meals and relax! Would definitely go back!

Comfortable, Convenient, Clean, and Fun!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse. The house was clean and comfortable, and close to Bryson City resources and attractions. We took advantage of the hot tub, Firepit/Grill, kitchen, outside and inside games. We cooked dinner a few nights in the house, and the kitchen was nicely stocked. All the beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were functional. Hosts were responsive and friendly. All in all, a great place to stay, I'd return in a heartbeat.

Amazing Rental

Exactly as described. Everything from bath towels out to pool towels for hot tub. Easy check in process and so many recommended things to do and see. Definitely would rent here again!! Loved all the extras included- dvd, games, etc.

Treehouse fun

We loved this little cabin. Truly was like being on a treehouse and the hosts have thought of everything for you entertainment while there. It did rain several days, so all of the games came in handy. Wifi was just enough to be able to turn in college assignments and exams. Road was busier than we expected but getting to see wildlife steps away from the cabin was awesome. Highly recommend this cabin.

Beautiful

We all really enjoyed our stay. We had 4 adults 1 teenager and a 3 year old and all fit comfortably in the tree house lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Walk keep their cabin stocked with plenty of paper plates, dishes, and little forget me nots. They really think of everything. We didn't know much about Bryson City when we arrived, but it is quite the beautiful town. Bryson City is small, but it has so much to offer. Our week was packed with water tubing, horse back riding (wagon ride for the litte one and adults that didnt wish to go) zip lining, wine tasting with the most fantastic views and train riding. I definitely recommend. The Tree Hose Lodge did not disappoint!

Great getaway to unplug

This place is awesome! It’s secluded but still close enough to everything! It also has extras in the kitchen like spices, butter, and trash bags. We loved that it was fully stocked in the kitchen as well as stocked with plenty of towels for a family of 4. Also, plenty of towels for the hottub. The kids and dad loved the game room. So many game options and plenty of DVDs to watch in every room. You can NOT stream your favorite apps but they do have direct TV cable that gives you plenty of channels to watch. The living room has electric recliners that were so comfy! We loved the fire pit and all of the swings and games outside on the deck. The Deep Creek winery is only about a mile from the house and has a lovely view. We loved our stay. The kids couldn’t wait to get back in the evenings to play more games!

Greatest Vacation Ever!

The Treehouse Lodge was simply the greatest place for a vacation to unplug and enjoy family time. Even when it rained we could stay outside on the wrap around deck and swing, eat at the table, play pool or read a book. Every morning we had coffee out on the deck. We went to Darnell Farms and had the best tasting strawberries ever, pet baby animals at the petting zoo and saw the most beautiful horses. We went to Cherokee and got to see big bears and little bears! We actually got to feed a baby bear and get our picture taken with him. Darnell Farms was 4 mins away from the lodge and Cherokee was 10 mins away. We grilled out most night and also toasted marshmallows with our Grandaughter. We slept upstairs in the loft which had the most amazingly comfortable bed. I can’t remember when I had a better bed to sleep in besides my own, on vacation. My daughter and I celebrated Mothers Day there and we made memories that we will never forget. We will definitely be back. Most peaceful and greatest place ever!

Mom, 2 Daughters & two German Shepherds Vacation

We were looking for a Girls Getaway for me mom and my two daughters 27 & 21 with our two German Shepherds that go everywhere with us. This property has it All! We felt comfortable right off, plenty of room between the inside of the cabin and the large decks around the whole cabin. The first night was rain & stormy so we just watched movies from the large DVD collection and comfortable furniture. There was plenty of things to do for all ages, from an outside pool table to hammocks. Just about everything you need is there, just bring your toiletries and food. The area Is truely beautiful with tons to do, we went horse back riding In the smokey mountain state park for 2.5 hrs it was breath taking with its beauty. The host are amazing, so nice and helpful, don't hesitate to ask any questions. I overloaded the circuit breaker and lost power in one of the bedrooms and as soon as I reached out to the host in order to find the circuit breaker box they got back to me within minutes. And after switching the circuits back on, all the power was returned to the room. We had a great time and made tons of memories. We plan on returning and making this cabin our getaway place! I highly recommend this Treehouse cabin and host! 5* stars!

Relaxing, Restorative, and Stress-Free!

Have you ever looked at a vacation rental and wondered to yourself, “this place looks good in pictures, but I am worried that when we get there, we will discover that it was a trick, it’s going to be a huge disappointment, and vacation will be ruined?” Regarding this rental, let me assure that nagging voice in the back of your mind: this place IS FANTASTIC, and your family is sure to thoroughly enjoy the stay! The owners have done a lovely job of updating the property so that it feels welcoming and relaxing. I think the most important thing for me to note is that it feels CLEAN. Underneath beds, dressers, couches, inside kitchen and bathroom cabinets – all of it is free of dust and debris. It is, top to bottom, spotless. Even the outdoor surfaces and furniture on the wrap around porch, the tables and chairs around the fire pit, all of it was clean! A++ cleaning service! The same is true of the linens and bedding. Nothing was stained, dirty, torn, or worn out. This property is well cared for! The property owner/manager is VERY communicative! We needed to reach out over a few trivial matters, and we received a very prompt, supportive, service-oriented response. We have two children, ages 11 and 13, who thoroughly enjoyed all of the fun extras you see listed and pictured for the property. This is just what our family needed – to unplug, slow down, relax, rest, and restore. It was awesome. Trust the reviews, trust the photos, and book your vacation!

We stayed at Tree House Lodge for 3 nights to celebrate my husband 40th birthday, and I can honestly say it was the perfect place for such a special milestone. We came with another couple, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we had picked the right spot. The cabin was cozy, romantic, and relaxing — exactly the kind of atmosphere you want when escaping to the mountains.The location couldn’t have been better. We spent our days hiking to waterfalls, visiting local wineries, and even made a stop at the casino, all within easy reach of the lodge. Yet, when we came back each evening, it felt like we were tucked away in our own private retreat.Some of our favorite parts of the stay were the beautiful fire pit area and the hot tub. After long days exploring, we ended every night with the warmth of the fire and a soak in the hot tub — it made the trip feel extra special and memorable. The cabin itself was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully decorated, so we never felt like we were missing a thing.The hosts were wonderful as well. Even though we didn’t end up needing much during our stay, they made themselves available and were quick to respond, which gave us peace of mind. It’s clear they truly care about their guests’ experience.Everything about our stay was perfect — from the comfort of the cabin to its proximity to everything Bryson City has to offer. We’re already talking about when we can come back, and I know this won’t be our last trip here.

Plenty of activities for adults and children. Game room was great fun for my 6-year-old and myself. Firepit was great in the evenings, and the hot tub was fun for the whole family. The wrap around porch had an abundance of rocking chairs and porch swings to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. The home was equipped with all the comforts of home. Plenty of activities around the area for any age group. Many and varied Restaurants around to choose from or enjoy the well-equipped and modern kitchen.

It was a cozy, comfortable and relaxing cabin. The porch was a great place to congregate as well as the fire pit. Several of us really enjoyed the hot tub. One night we even roasted marshmallows over the fire pit! Any questions we had were quickly answered by the owners. We highly recommend!

From start to finish the booking, checking in and out process was very easy. All questions were answered perfectly. We could not have found a more perfect place to stay. The easiest rental experience ever. The teens loved the game room. The rental has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is perfect. Plenty of everything for a family- plates, cups, utensils it’s all there. There was dishwasher soap, dish soap, hand soap, bath/shower items and extra little goodies in case you forgot your toothbrush etc. we absolutely loved our stay.

Fun Cabin for Adults and Dogs

House had everything we needed and the covered porches were awesome. We did bring 2 baby gates to keep the dogs on the porches because they would wander off on us if given the chance. Peace of mind knowing they couldn't get off since the porches went around 3 sides of the house. House is very dog friendly with leather couches. Loved the 2 screen doors for the cool mornings. Hot tub was great. Our adult son and daughter-in-law loved having their privacy in the basement space.
