Inside, you'll find the home dressed in cool, beachy tones and attractive décor, with lots of comfortable furniture and natural light. When you're not out on the water, hang out with friends and enjoy some ice-cold refreshments on the furnished balcony overlooking the water. You'll love catching your favorite movies and shows on the living room's flatscreen TV. The full kitchen is equipped with all the appliances and counter space you'll need to assemble a delightful meal and you can enjoy your masterpiece at the kitchen table or outside as an al-fresco meal. Beach trip

When we arrived, the thermostat wouldn't work. I contacted the manager and someone was in the driveway in 20 mins. Ended up being the batteries and all worked well.Almost every shade in the house is broken and missing pieces and alot of the furniture is outdated. . Probably find a different spit in Gulf Shores for next year's beach trip.

Great Place

This is our second stay at this place and we absolutely love it!! It’s so close to the water we can hear the waves crash inside which I absolutely love. The area is so quiet and peaceful. Everything is exactly as described about the place!

Loved this little house on the lagoon. It sits right on the water with a very easy walk to a private beach area. House was clean, bed was comfortable, hot showers, and cold AC. I will definitely be back.

Perfect getaway and even better location !!

This was by far the best stay . We have stayed at high end condos and other homes but this tops them all. Secluded and right on the water just steps away. Great neighbors also that are locals year round . Five stars !!!

Gorgeous Sunsets on the Lagoon

This was the perfect size home for the two of us! The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the nice deck overlooking the Lagoon and watching the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. Very peaceful!

Lots of Birds, Peace and solitude on the little lagoon. Easy walk to West Beach, Gulf Shores, AL

Lots to f birds to watch, fish jumping and peace and solitude by the little lagoon. We saw great blue herons, an osprey, and a hawk. Along with smaller wading shorebirds. Also, lots of hermit crabs along the lagoon shores. Also a very walk to the Gulf Coast beach.

Overall great stay

Came in after dark. No address on house and no lights on. Light on deck where keypad was at was actually tore off the wall. We used lights on phone to be able to get in. Once in everything was clean and nice.

Small cozy house. Very close to everything. Needs some updates and a few essentials to make it a very comfortable stay. We long watching the sunsets over the lagoon from this house. We will be back if it's still standing next year.

We picked a bad time with the weather to come so we didn’t get to enjoy many days like we hoped but being right on the water like that was so fun! The location we thought was great. It was our first time not staying directly on the beach side and we have zero regrets. We were able to walk to beach with two little kids without a problem so that was nice as well. The home fit our needs perfectly for the time we were there!

Location!!

First, we loved the location. The bay side is SO quiet and tranquil. The walk to the beach side was quick and easy. We had everything we needed, but the building needs some tender loving care. There was a lot of water underneath, so we couldn't use that part. When it rains, the walk to your car is gushy. Loved the privacy and view from the porch. It would be nice if part or all of the porch was covered to help keep things dry when it rains. The shower head is SO short you have to bend down to rinse off. They could use a new bed. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it's hard to beat this location!!

Clean but no frills!

Very very clean and relaxing view. Maybe our mistake but know that the “beach” is not on the ocean. It’s on the lee side of the peninsula. Short walk to the ocean beach. Water was peaceful and birds abound—pelicans, herons, seagulls with black heads, ducks. No frills at all though. Also bathtub does not work and dryer has no filter.

That view!! 😍 💫🎉

My husband and I usually stay where there’s an ocean view but mixed it up with this location and it didn’t disappoint. The sunsets were breathtaking!! We played in the lagoon, enjoyed the seagulls, cranes, owls and various birds, the boats, jet skis & kayaks going by. We listened to music on the deck and danced under the stars. 💫 Very comfy seating on the deck and underneath the home. Short walk to the public beach that’s just a few blocks away where we went to enjoy the sunrises. ☀️ The only downside is the blinds above the bed needs dusted (badly) and there needs to be more towels and wash cloths in the cottage. Nobody has time to do laundry everyday. We are definitely planning on coming back someday.
