Try somewhere else. Cute but far from a great resort stay.

Cute but far from a great resort stay. I feel like a complainer with this review, but paid way too much. I was expecting a cozy cabin experience but got an undone fixer experience.Cleaning crew missed the mark with dirty bathroom and kitchen. Bathroom was not very clean easily determined with dirty chrome fixtures. There was what seemed like ketchup splatter on the side of the fridge in the kitchen. The cabins' state dirtiness made us question the cleanliness of the hot tub, we chose not to take a chance. The whole cabin is in need of maintenance. The bathroom window broken. The crank that is supposed to open and close the window. It does not work; the window is stuck open about an inch. All cabin windows look like they have not been cleaned in years. The kitchen table finish is old and sticky. It was gross resting my arm on it. When food fell off my plate onto the table, I would not eat it off the table. Bathtub/shower drain is slow. Could not keep up with shower, nothing like soapy water in the bottom of the tub to step out of. Front porch light doesn't work.Had trouble locating the cabin, I called for help she was very helpful and courteous to help me find the location. Had a hard time getting the Fire table to flow propane gas to light. Checked tank valve, there was a gauge showing pressure, tried adjusting but no gas flow. Called for help and they sent someone while we were out. They started it worked and remember to turn on the timer. I had no idea what that meant, so no help. It made me look for instructions which were on the door, I had missed when I first tried. Internet was horrible. Dropped often. Do not plan on working with this internet.With all the choices in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area, try something else Elk Springs misses the mark on basic cleaning and maintenance unless you tell them, then they do respond. I don’t want to tell management they need to maintain their location and then deal with them fixin
