Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle! We also really enjoyed being able to fish whenever we had the chance and being on the water really helped with that.
I cannot say enough about this property or the host, Nestor. It was actually even more beautiful in person than the listing shows it to be and the outdoor space was amazing to hang out and relax or eat breakfast. Sunrise was just gorgeous under the smaller tiki. Nestor has great communication and makes you feel welcome during your stay with prompt attentiveness to any needs. Do yourself a favor and just book this one.
Loved our experience & stay at Pirate's Cove. Communication with Nestor was easy & he answered the couple questions we had. He also stopped by briefly during our stay since he was unable to see us at check in. All of that was communicated as well.
The RV was comfortable & had everything we needed. The items it didn't have Nestor had it in the RV for us before we arrived. I asked if he had a large pot for crabs and sure enough it was on the stove when we arrived. Unfortunately we didn't get live crabs on this trip but we had plenty of GREAT food.
Blackwater Siren is close and easy with a hefty menu and fair pricing.
Fish House was our favorite. We managed to go twice during our stay and fully intend to go everytime we're in Key Largo!
Mrs. Macs Kitchen has THE BEST key lime pie. No key lime pie will ever compare. We took 2 pies with us home.
Overall couldn't be more happy for my first trip to the Keys. It's a short drive for us and we are already thinking about our next visit and hoping to return to Pirate's Cove. We were lucky to have spotted a manatee just a few feet from the edge of the property. So cool!
Thank you for everything, Nestor!!
Great location, beautiful outdoor area, trailer better than a hotel by far only problem was they didn't have the kayak advertised because of a legitimate reason but they only charged for 2 days instead of three which i appreciated. If they fix the kayak situation it would be hard to find a better place for the price.
The camper and property was clean but was not described properly in the listing. The camper itself did have a leaky sunlight in the shower when it rained and the lights would flicker if too many were on. There were also no wash clothes in the camper. The camper was clean and the air conditioner worked well. The outside was also well kept except the view is NOT as described. There are several pictures on the listing that show the loungers overlooking the bay and can see the sunrise. This is not true. There is a wall of bushes that block this view and you can only see the small inlet with a view directly into the mangroves. One of the primary reasons I booked this listing was because of the views and we were quite disappointed as we were heavily misled. Also, the kayak is not safe and will sink. We made it barely 20 feet off the dock before the hull of the kayak filled with water and started to sink. Fortunately my husband and I were able to get the kayak back to the dock.
The property had everything we needed. Most of our time was spent outside of course. I had alot of fun catching fish. My wife is a Sun Child, we both came back tan. The trailer was very comfortable, the bed was very nice after a day exploring. The location is very nice due to eateries and other shopping needs. We would love to go back soon.Thank you for letting us stay at your location.
The outdoor space was large and well equipped. The interior was clean and also well equipped. This was our first visit to Key Largo and while the outdoor space at Pirate Cove was lovely, overall Key Largo was not for us. Ideal for folks with a boat or who intend to rent a boat.
This property was perfect for just the two of us. It was clean and in a spectacular location. We really ejoyed the deck both morning and night.

Kyak
Do not use the kyak!! My husband and I took the kyak out, got across the bay and it started to sink. We ended up trying to swim back across the bay and were unable to, due to the tide pulling us out. Thankfully someone came by in a kyak and pulled us back over to the dock. It was a very scary experience.
Overall we really liked this rental & would return. This is a great place to stay if you want a quiet, relaxing vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with a full size fridge, and there’s plenty of seating both indoors and out. You can catch a variety of fish right off shore & the double kayak with hoist made for fun trips into Manatee Bay. The sunrise views are phenomenal! The Wi-Fi is fast. The bathroom is hard plumbed with a flushable toilet & plenty of hot water. This is a roomy park model RV. The host, Nestor, is super nice and responsive.A few notes: the bugs were bad despite cool weather & biting midge flies aren’t repelled by bug spray which limited our time using the outdoor space. The tvs have very basic direct tv & no option to connect streaming services like Netflix. The furniture is ok, but smelled a bit like cologne. The bed was a proper king but it has a dip in the center. The pillows were very uncomfortable. We weren’t told that the oven wasn’t working, however a toaster oven was provided. Unfortunately we’d already bought food that was too large for the toaster oven by the time we figured it out. It is 20-45 minute drive into Key Largo for any resources. There is a small public road to walk around outside of the association but not much & neighbors had “shoot first” type signs posted. The RV was not level & bounced quite a bit.
We had the absolute best time here. The views, the wildlife, the seclusion, the location, it was all absolutely perfect. We saw numerous manatees and dolphins and saw the most gorgeous sunrises. It was also perfectly located if you are looking for somewhere that is quiet and secluded, but also near all the great restaurants in Key Largo. We loved it and plan to return next year!
After our last visit Summer 2023, we returned for 5 nights mid March. It was another incredible stay with all of the amazing accomodations.
Pirate's Cove is the perfect get-away spot for us. We were able to fish right there and caught plenty of fish to cook up for our last night's dinner. We slept very comfortably; it felt like maybe the mattress was replaced/upgraded since last summer. Late night we enjoyed chilling in the living room, watching a little TV and having a slice of key lime pie (from Mrs. Mac's Kitchen...the very best!). The place began to feel like home.
You can't beat the view, the location, and the access to everything you could possibly need. And it's always a huge plus having an owner that takes pride in his property and is very accessible by phone or in person should the need arise.
Without question this is our favorite vacation spot!
This spot beat all of our expectations! The fishing was great and the blue crabs were huge! We loved it and did not want to leave. We will be back next year! Thank you Nestor!
Great place for a camper. Don't be scared away by it being a camper, lots of room and very comfortable. The location is awesome, boat is docked within 30" of the camper, you have your own little private resort. Only down fall is check out is a pain if you have a boat. You have to walk back to put keys back into camper and lock it up, walk is not the issue but getting through the gates without keys or (fob) is, you have to wait for someone to come through to let you out. They need a key code at the inside of gate to let you out. Still a great place and I recommend it, *****
Very nice experience. The outdoor area was wonderful. The chairs overlooking the water was my favorite spot to sit and relax. Really enjoyed having the outside TV. No problems at all.
Well maintained 5th wheel parked on a point in Manatee Cove. Saw manatees! Fish. Kayak for use. Nice large palapa where we spent most of our outdoor time. Private & quiet.
