Great property

Beautiful sunrises from the nice ocean view deck! With 2 grandchildren under 3, we loved the built in Baby gate at the top of the stairs. The property is beautifully renovated and is like new with lots of space to congregate.

Awesome property!

A couple friends were getting married, and we are all from St. Louis, MO. So a bunch of us decided to make a short vacation out of the trip. The house was great, we had all the information we needed to get in. There were 13 of us in total, and we all had comfortable beds to sleep in and an amazing pool to swim in!

Decent condition

The house is older and could use some minor work. Overall it was nice, the pool is nice for more water time after hanging out at the beach for a while. Location was great. We could see the water from the house and it’s a very short walk out to the beach. There were some items found that had not been noticed by the cleaning crew so we had to throw those away. There was also a loose faucet but the maintenance crew fixed it quickly. Communication and service from Jekyll Realty was excellent.

Nice property clean with great views from upstairs. Nice pool. Only problem is we rented this house because it advertised elevator. But it was locked and beach access was closed. We had several people with knee problems and the stairs were very hard. Also advertised 4 bath rooms but actually the not 31/2

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best week at the Salty Sol. Our entire family stayed in the house including my brother who has a lot of mobility issues. The owners graciously allowed us access to their elevator which made the entire trip 100x easier for him. This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Salty Sol and we absolutely love the property. Lots of space indoors and outdoors including ocean views from the deck. The pool is perfection. Next time we come, we will make sure the tides correspond to when we want to be at the beach since there is no access at high tide. We were a little worried about crowds because it was the week of July 4th, but it was not an issue at all. The fireworks were amazing from the beach access walkway.

We spent a week with our children and grandchildren. The pool was great for relaxing and cooling off after a long day on the beach. The kitchen is large and open to the dining area and living room area, so it's perfect for the whole family to spend time together. And the view from the deck is wonderful. Reviewer Comments: The Salty Sol has a great ocean view from the side deck, plenty of bedrooms for all of my family, and a private pool. We had a great weekend enjoying the public beach down the road since the beach access on Stewart Lane was destroyed during last years hurricane season. You can walk across the backyard neighbors yard to access the beach on Albright street. We had a great time but will probably look for a house with direct beach access next time.

Had a great time.We weren’t there for the beach and it was too cold to use the pool, but the beach access was very close. We received a welcome bag with few goodies, including a roll of toilet paper, a trash bag, a sponge and cute bottle of dish soap, and a pen and a koozie, which was nice.The property had plenty of plates/bowls/mugs, utensils (even though we brought disposables) and kitchen tools/gadgets. The furniture were a little old and some had loose shelves/knobs. But we didn’t really use them. Who really uses the furniture in the rooms at these rental places when we’re there for just a few days? The beds were pretty comfortable(!!)and clean and there were plenty of towels for all of us. However, as recommended in the check-in details, do bring toiletries, trash bags, and toilet paper(!) The downstairs bathrooms had zero toilet paper, and we sure were glad we had picked up some on our way. The master bathroom upstairs is awesome. Huge and plenty of counter space. Downstairs bathrooms are quite small and very little counter space, the needed a new shower liner.The location was great. It’s a small island, so I guess everything is close by. and one of the best part about the property was the view of the ocean from upstairs! It’s a nice property and I highly recommend it.

You had to put the sheets on the bed yourself though which I thought was odd, but when you leave you don’t have to take them off so I guess it evens out. When we arrived the toilet in the Master bedroom was clogged and the shower on the lower level did not drain very well, the water would rise up to my ankles. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much! I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Great Stay!

Property was very clean inside and out. Beds were more comfortable than any hotel we've stayed at before. Plenty of good quality towels were included. Pool was very clean. View was fantastic!
