Place was perfect for what we needed for our family. There were a few minor issues like a broken chair on the maid deck, and the beach chairs being really run down vs what the expectations were. I would bring our own chairs in the future if staying here.

Nice home with nice View

The house worked well for our large family gathering. It had enough space for everyone to feel comfortable with 2 gathering areas and lots of outdoor deck area for enjoying the beautiful view.

Wonderful vacation

We all loved this home. The living room was a perfect size and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need. The kids really enjoyed the game room and the pool. All the beds were comfortable. The host was great with communication and help with any questions we had. It really is a wonderful place to stay.

The property had great ocean views and a great location. It was within a short walking distance to restaurants, pier, and mini-golf. Easy access to the beach was a plus as we had our elderly parents with us. We had plenty of room at the house and the kids enjoyed the first floor amenities. It was great having a pool at the house for the times we weren’t on the beach. We would stay again and the communication with the owner was great!

Great location

The location is ideal. We were 500’ from a public beach access in either direction; walking distance to pier and shops. The home had everything we needed - kitchen gear, beach toys, pool toys, dining area large enough to accommodate our group, lots of deck space, beautiful views, pool, Bluetooth speakers in outdoor spaces, foosball table, and an elevator. Highly recommend.

Family vacation 2024

The house itself is lovely and our host was very accommodating. We had a great week with our family of 11 seven adults and four grandchildren. FYI don’t bring chairs or beach equipment. Everything is there as described in the house info. Hope your day is as good as ours.

Fantastic House and owners

We stayed at this wonderful house for a week in September with 4 couples. This house is fantastic!! It is clean, in a great location and well equipped with everything you need. The owner is very responsive to questions and easy to deal with. The pool does not get much sunlight and can be a bit chilly, I would recommend paying to have it heated. We had a great time and hope to return next year!!

So glad you and your friends enjoyed your stay in our home. It probably would be a good idea to elect to have the pool heated in September, as the days are a little shorter and the nights cool off a bit. You just have to request this prior to arrival. Thank you for being such great guests!

Family Get Together

House was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.. Beach is easy to access. Beautiful views. It says 5 bed/5 1/2 bath but note that 1 bedroom upstairs does NOT have it's own private attached bathroom. We had 1 sink that was very backed up that was never fixed. Would definitely come back and stay again. Wayne was super easy to communicate with.

Beautiful Ocean Isle Cottage

Stayed here with 10 Ladies for our annual college reunion trip. Cottage was great for our group and we had a great stay. Very well equipped, tastefully decorated and great location. Especially loved the great upper deck with beautiful view of the ocean - perfect for the 70’s dance party and viewing of the lunar eclipse! Especially loved that owner provided beach chairs, beach carts and 4 bicycles for guests use. Would definitely rent again.

Spring Break 2022

My family had a wonderful vacation at Ocean Isle Beach. The house was beautiful, clean and full of sun. It has a clear ocean view from the front of the house and a clear canal view from the back. We loved the "extras" like the pool speakers, foosball table and beach equipment. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent House, Amazing Host

This house was incredible. Our family has been going to Ocean Isle for 20 years and this was by far the nicest house we've stayed in. There were ample living spaces for our whole family of 15 to spread out and not be on to of each other and especially lovely outdoor spaces which was great when other family stopped by so we could gather outside safely. The pool was a great addition for the kids to get their energy out in the afternoon as it was extremely clean and well kept. Also Wayne, the host couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. He made the checkin process so quick and easy and was so responsive throughout the weekend for any questions. We couldn't have asked for a better stay or a better host. Highly recommend and we're already looking forward to staying again next year.

AMAZING

We will absolutely seek out this property the next trip we plan to Ocean Isle Beach. It was perfect for my group of ladies for our momcation / half marathon race. Everyone had a great time and was comfortable with the accommodations. The heated pool felt AMAZING on the late October days. We are pretty sure this was the best house on the entire island. The decking was furnished with comfortable furniture and we spent a lot of time out there with our coffees in the morning. The place was sparkling clean and the instructions were easy to follow. The elevator made it easy peasy to get our bags to the top level. We were allowed to arrive very early on check in day and stay late into the afternoon to soak up more time on the beach. Quick responses from the home owner. There is literally nothing I can say that was negative about our experience. All positive!!

Bonding With Family at OIB

An extremely smooth transition from arriving, staying the week, and leaving. As one of my 6 grandchildren said, it was sad to leave. We all had fun and hope to return.

Beautiful property, close to everything we wanted to see or do with our family. Both big and little kids loved the arcade games and the pool! Edy was very helpful with any questions we had.

Golf Vacation

Everything a group of golfers would need for a terrific trip. House was lovely and situated perfectly on the Atlantic. Entertainment and tech were great. Bed and bathrooms were more than we expected. Anything required for making a great meal or making a vivid to the beach. This Sleepy little town in the off season made for the ideal backdrop for our annual getaway.

Ultimate Beach Spot

We had an amazing weekend at the house. Everything was in great condition and the home had many extras (foosball table, arcade games, etc). Also kept very clean. Location was perfect as well. I would definitely recommend.

Enjoyable stay in beautiful home!

Great location, great views. We've rented this house 4 summers in a row. Linens provided, along with beach carts and chairs, means less packing! Always clean, and owners have responded quickly to any questions or issues we've had.

More than expected!

The house was gorgeous and provided a beautiful view of the ocean from the top balcony! Loved that it was close to the beach accesses and provided beach chairs, boogie boards, and carts for transporting beach toys. The kitchen was more than adequately staffed for cooking meals, and provided grills for our barbecuing pleasure. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! The owners were a joy to work with as well.
