The historic river village of Fairport Harbor is just a few mins away w/ a dog friendly beach, kayaks and paddleboard rentals. Mentor Headland Beach is close, and known for excellent beach glass hunting. Cleveland and wine country are w/in 30 mins in either direction. Geneva on the Lake offers go carts, zip lining, putt putt, etc...

Exceeded All Expectations

We booked this property for the eclipse because everything seemed to be booked in Cleveland for the Women’s NCAA basketball Final Four. We feel so fortunate that we found this lovely home. The home is tastefully and elegantly decorated. There is everything here you need for your comfort. The host even knew we were coming for the eclipse and left glasses and eclipse themed snacks. Oh, there were fresh flowers on the dining room table. All the dishes, appliances, linens and furniture were comfortable and stylish. We enjoyed sitting on the private deck. There is plenty of space to park off the street. The TV offered many channels and the wifi worked great. We felt safe in this home in this neighborhood. Communication with the host was outstanding. The home sincerely exceeded expectations. I highly recommend. We only wish we could have stayed more nights, as we really enjoyed our visit and were sad to check out.

Owner has a strong attention to detail.

There was so many sweet and attention detail things that this owner did for this residence. From her things available razors, even dried herbs for soaking in the bath. Beds were very comfortable building was very clean with the exception that it looks like someone threw an apple or some type of fruit at a mirror in the hallway upstairs and had a fruit smashed on the walls and Floors. This is nothing negative against this owner just didn't see it everything else was an excellent cleanliness. Will definitely stay again. Just wish the neighborhood looked a little bit safer. My biggest suggestion for the owner were to change the PIN code to entering on every renter. It appears that this code is not changed regularly. Meaning that if you stayed at this place you could use the pin number and get in still. That doesn't leave you feeling very safe.

Cute House in Painesville

House very clean, well-stocked and nicely decorated. Appreciate the responsiveness of the hostess and the ability to have our 2 dogs with us. Very close to Lake Erie College and downtown Painesville.
