Located on the seventh floor, the master bedroom offers a king bed and a twin bed. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. The second bedroom offers a king bed and bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Make yourself at home and experience Port Aransas and the beach. Sitting on the balcony seeing the sunrise over the Gulf is amazing. No pets allowed.

Nice Property, But Sparse Kitchen and Lots of Light

We’ve stayed at The Dunes for years— my husband grew up coming to The Dunes and the recent updates are great. The units are individually owned, so there is some variation from unit to unit. The finish out and layout of this particular unit is nice and new. Beds are comfortable, showers are good, and kitchen is pretty. The swimming pool is great and on-site property management is responsive and helpful. But if you plan on cooking and eating in, the kitchen has only the very basics. for instance, I couldn’t find a cutting board or spatula. Knives were dull, so it was hard to cut melon. It would be nice to have salt and pepper available, but I understand that isn’t required. The shades in the bedrooms are light filtering but do not block out light. This was hard for the room that looks out to the hallway because the building lights are on all night and shine into the room. But otherwise, clean and comfy place.
