Welcome to the Golden Oaks cabin in beautiful Wears Valley nestled near the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. We are grateful to have one of the most popular cabins in the area. Hopefully our amazing reviews from our incredible guests help to tell that story.

Wonderful place to stay! The view from the cabin and the yard is beautiful and close to multiple things to do including GSMTN trails and hiking. The dogs loved the fenced yard and the cabin was packed with all of the things to make us comfortable from cooking to laundry to comfy seating and beds. We will book again if we are in the area. This is the only place we will ever stay from now on near Pigeon Forge! It was just like home. We go to the mountains 3-4 times a year. We have never spent so much time at a cabin. Rocking on the front porch with coffee while watching our boys (dogs) play in the fenced backyard. Then, in the afternoon sitting on the back porch relaxing under the huge old oak tree. We cooked out twice and we have never done that at a cabin! I promise you this place feels like home and will meet all of your expectations. We saw juvenile bears walking around close by. It was about a 10 minute drive to the parkway. It was clean and so spacious with a den, pool table and a living room. The bed was so comfy. Matthew was great to answer my questions. We were in the valley and it was just peaceful and breathtaking! You should visit my new favorite store! It’s the general store right down the road. I went there every day. It was so nostalgic, not to mention all of the awesome things they had for sale!

The owner was highly communicative, responsive, and genuinely friendly. The listing matched the property perfectly.My family spent a few days enjoying the spotless home, the great yard for our dog, and the well-equipped kitchen. Each morning, I relaxed on the covered porch with a cup of coffee, watching the sunrise. There’s also a community pond and pool—the pool wasn’t open during our stay, but it looked fantastic. We visit the area often and we've stayed in countless cabins but this is the first time I've ever left a review because I want everyone to know how amazing this little cabin is. It's absolutely perfect, simple but yet has everything we could've asked for. It checked every single box for our family. Beautiful, clean and far enough away from the busy strip. Just a short drive and you are in the heart of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. The property is just gorgeous and my favorite part is the screened in porch. Owners are so very kind which is always a plus. We have already booked for August and planning to return again next March.

Our stay at this home was absolutely perfect for both us and our pups! The highlight was easily the fully fenced yard, which was secure and spacious enough for the dogs to run freely while we relaxed on the porch. It is so rare to find a rental where you can truly let your guard down knowing the yard is pet-safe.The home itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a week long getaway. If you are looking for a stress-free, dog-friendly retreat, I cannot recommend this place enough. Mathew was a great host as usual and we'll be returning again next year!!

We love being so close to one of the back door entrances to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is convenient and less busy. Having such a peaceful setting with access to a great pool and fishing pond is wonderful. Also being a short drive from all that Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Townsend have to offer is very convenient.
