Apartment was as described. Location was AMAZING. Walking distance to the beach and shops.
Access to the swimming pool was a great bonus.
Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
We stayed for 7 nights and had a wonderful time! The location was perfect—everything we wanted to do was within walking distance, and we didn't even need to rent a car. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our only minor issue, though not really a complaint, was that the bed was a bit too hard for our liking. However, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We really enjoyed the city view as a change of scenery since we usually look at the ocean.A fun surprise was the fireworks display every Friday from the Hilton next door. It was a great way to end the week! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable stay!
Very nice room and good location. Since it faced the street, the road noise was significant. Access to the exercise facilities would have been nice but not a deal breaker.
I would strongly advise against staying here. Check-in was at 4 PM, but the unit was filthy. The bed wasn’t made, and trash was everywhere. Bryan, the manager, contacted cleaners who hadn’t been notified. They arrived at 5:50 PM, and I didn’t get access to a cleaned unit until 6:50 PM. The manager admitted the owners’ family stayed before me and failed to notify anyone when they checked out, so cleaning wasn’t scheduled. Even after cleaning, the air was toxic with ammonia and Pine-Sol odors that lingered throughout my stay. The mattress was decades old, cheap, and unbearable. I’ve slept in terrible places in my youth, like a children’s home and juvenile hall, but this was worse. The springs were creaky, and by the end of my stay, I was in excruciating pain. When I stripped the bed, I found yellow stains on the mattress pad and pillows from body fluids. The noise was relentless, with motorcycles, sirens, and loud water sounds from the bedroom wall whenever neighbors used it. I had to connect the TVs to WiFi myself, and the bedroom TV’s speakers were blown out. The front door wouldn’t close unless slammed, and security knocked in the middle of the night because it wasn’t shut. On my last day, Bryan called asking why I hadn’t checked out by 11 AM, even though I paid for late check-out. Poor communication and mismanagement made this a nightmare stay. Avoid this property.
Had no problems at all. Very easy check in and out, nice amenities and clean. Great location, within walking distance to just about anything you need. Would stay here again.
My mother, my fiance, and I needed a place to stay as we were attending a wedding at lanikuhonoa cultural institute. The wedding celebrants had reserved spots in the Ilikai and also the Prince Waikiki nearby, but even with their booking code, the hotel prices were insanely out of budget. My fiance and I did loads of research and found that folks had properties within the Ilikai for rent. We found a few we liked but this one was the most reasonably priced, had the best reviews, and looked very clean. The wall between the living room and bedroom was very appreciated so that there could be privacy between myself and my fiance and my mom. The view of Ala Moana BLVD was beautiful. We had front row seats to the 76th annual floral parade! Our lanai was so nice to chill on to wind down from our busy active days. The pictures were exactly like the listing in real life. The communication with the property managers was really easy, too. I would hands down stay here again!!!!!
Modern appliances, roomy bathroom and shower, large bedroom space, full size kitchen. Apartment still in great shape since it was renovated, with manyguests staying and leaving. Many electrical outlet throughout the unit. Good desk with chair if you need to do work away from home. Most of all, host was responsive in answering questions before and after arrival. Bryan Chen, the manager, was easy to reach and was helpful. Perfect for two persons.
A nice renovation has been done in this unit. Kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is spacious with a great shower. Ilikai is in a very convenient location and accessible to many different bus routes.
Great condo. Only had a city view but we were out and about most of the time so not a big deal. Furnished nice. Bed was extremely hard and needs a better mattress.
Very nice accommodations and great location. Enjoyed morning coffee on the lanai. Pickup to some of our excursions right from the entrance of our condo. Beautiful view from the penthouse. Thank you for making our stay so easy welcoming and fun
The stay was very nice. Condo was clean. Highly recommend paying for the parking stall if you have a rental vehicle. Not sure where we would have parked if we did not have that spot. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom very clean. Only snag was door lock was not programmed with our code when we got there and the parking pass was not left for us so we had to wait on that before we could unload. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful and we would book here again. Great location.
Bad:
Bed and wifi. Bed was an absolute rock. Wifi would drop for 10-30 seconds at a time.
Great:
Location in the Illikai, which is an older hotel, it can be busy /crowded at peak times but its so close to everything. The units been pretty nicely styled and furnished. Bathroom was really nice.
Nitpicks:
A newer vacuum (without the carpet beaters) would be nice to keep the sand at bay. The ironing board screeches like a banshee.
We stayed 7 nights in this accomodation with our relatives staying in another condo in the tower.
The view was fantastic, and the unit had everything we could ask for including ample storage and a nice, big bathroom.
Having a full-sized fridge and kitchen was fantastic and we prepared a number of meals during our stay.
This is an amazing room at the most perfect location. Quiet and away from all the crazy tourist traffic, but still steps away from all the hot spots. Literally steps away from the lagoon and Waikiki Beach
Room was perfect, super clean and cozy! I will always use this property when I visit
Great apartment in a superb location.
The pictures don't do the apartment justice.
If you've got a car try using the parking beside the Hilton lagoon. Scan the Qr code and its $1 an hour.
We stayed here because we wanted to be close to our son’s family which was staying across the street. The Ilikai is very nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I am not impressed with the beach—very rocky!
We had a wonderful time while staying here. The view is of the city and mountains in the distance. The property is lovely and within walking distance of the beach, shopping and many places to eat. Valet parking is not cheap but cheaper than most in the area.
Our second stay in this unit, clean, updated, manage Bryan is attentive & easy to work with. Walking distance to Ala Moana Mall, great surf spots right outside, rent boards downstairs. Mahalo nui!
