RESORT
Pointe West is a fabulous resort community at the end of Galveston Island where the beaches are big & beautiful. Residents enjoy two resort style swimming pools, a fitness center, restaurant, game room, gift shop, and numerous social activities throughout the year. A short golf cart ride to San Louis Pass beach and many fishing spots.
***Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Beach Club to take full advantage of the resort facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, restaurant and bar). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the club upon registration. *** (Due to Covid, you will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay for your wristbands. The primary guest on your reservation will show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands.)

“SIPPIN’ ON SUNSHINE”
• “Sippin’ on Sunshine” will be serving all day! Plans are to begin with a Brunch/Lunch/Dinner menu and possibly expand to breakfast service.
• Restaurant / Bar service available 6 days a week during peak season, 2 weekend days during the off season - as well as special holidays
• Special Pool Side Events such as Saturday Mimosas with Moms
• Special Beach Events such as Volleyball Tournaments and Luaus
• Holiday Menus
• Kids Menu
The pools and hot tubs are open 365 days a year (unless under Maintenace - please call club ahead of your stay to confirm)! That is what makes this resort unique. The Lazy River Pool will be heated in winter months.
Sea Mist Gift Shop: The gift shop at Pointe West Beach Club has beach toys, goggles, toiletries and basics as well as tons of great Beach Fashion, home decor and accessories at great prices. They have water, chips, and ice cream for $1! Please stop by and say “Hi” to Alice and see all of the treasures packed into her tiny shop. If you forgot something, she probably has it! The Gift Shop is open 7 days a week during the Summer and Friday-Sunday during the mid season and closes for winter.

My wife and I met in Houston and have enjoyed the 10+ years living in the area. We love to experience new places and cultures so travel is something we do with our family as often as possible. It took us a while, but we discovered Pointe West and were able to spend time at some of the great vacation rentals in the neighborhood. When the property we are in now became available we jumped at the chance to spend more time on the island but also to become what we hope to be great hosts to share Pointe West with others.
Why they chose this property
This is a recent build from a quality builder in the area. We are planners and would have spent countless hours weighing all of the options, but thankfully for us, the builder nailed all of the features we would have designed into this home. We were thrilled to spend time furnishing and tweaking the furnishings for ourselves but also for what we believe our guests will enjoy. Our young girls saw the property for the first time and its light purple color paint and named it THE PURPLE PEARL. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
What makes this property unique
Just a short walk from the beach walkover, its very conveniently located to enjoy the sand, but also there is a massive green space behind the property that we find relaxing and peaceful. The neighborhood amenities are second to none and we have enjoyed taking a golf cart around and exploring.
