Our stay was fantastic. The property was spotless and perfect. We were there in April and the town was so quiet and lovely. Short drives took us to the busy beaches but it was so nice to come “home” to our quiet place.
We love staying at this house when traveling to this area for tournaments. The house has every comfort one can need, is in a beautiful location, and is within walking distance to an amazing restaurant.
We stayed here for several days, and loved being within walking distance to the beach, and close to lots of activities in Dover and other nearby communities. The home was well maintained and clean, and the hosts were friendly, and communicated clearly.
Our family of four stayed here for a lacrosse tournament. The house was in a perfect location, short drive to the fields, and we could walk to restaurants and the beach. The house was also clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for our long weekend. I hope to book it next time we are in town!
Perfect location if you are going to be spending your weekend at the turf fields. It was a very relaxing place to be during breaks between games. The marshlands are very pretty.
Greta spot for anyone visiting the DE turf fields and looking for nice accommodations at a good price. House is super clean with all appliances needed to feel like you are at home. An exit or 2 from the turf fields and 45 minutes from a nice dinner at rehobeth. This is a small 6 block or so beach community that you can walk thru with a great restaurant. Live music can be heard from thru out the town.
This property was absolutely everything I could ask for to have a perfect staycation. Spotless, cozy, great sunsets, beautiful decor, an entire stack of Magnolia Journals, safe and quiet town, the list goes on. I must say I felt sad to leave such a wonderul place and will hopefully stay again! The hosts have made this a true home away from home filled with anything you could need. Working on one of the puzzles they had while watching the sun set was a highlight of my stay.
Clean, efficient, and comfortable accomodations. Minor issues - We did not see an address number on the property so we had to ask around. We had to move the neighbors trash cans to park. We would stay again!
The kitchen had everything you could need. There was a washer and dryer in the downstairs bathroom. There were plenty of beach items to use. It was very open and relaxing. Getting to the beach was quick and easy. I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Great stay, clean and nicely decorated. Only thing I would have loved to have was a king bed in at least one room and blackout curtains in the main bedroom… 6am wake up from the sun beaming in. I had to reach out to owner over AC not staying g at the temp we set due to a program schedule with smart thermostat. Owner fixed for last night stay
Great property. Exactly as described online. Good sized bedrooms and first floor. Very clean. Communication with host was quick and provided every detail that was needed. Would stay here again.
We spent three nights at Bowers Beach out of a 12 day roadtrip. This home made an excellent base for exploring Dover and southern Delaware. The home is spacious. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. There were just two of us, but there was plenty of room for a larger group. The kitchen was well equipped. I appreciated the Keurig and the selection of coffees. We cooked our own breakfast each day. It was great to have full a size washer and dryer and not the typical compact over under combo. Internet access was good with no problems. Our only complaint is that the shower floor was very slippery. Check-in and check-out were easy. We had good communication with the host.We enjoyed our stay and will rent again if we return to this area.
We stayed for a long weekend in October while visiting family for a wedding. The property worked really well for our two teenagers and my spouse and I. We did all the puzzles and were able to walk to the beach one day. It was exactly what we needed and we would stay again.
The house appeared clean but the place smelled moldy and old. I do not think the carpet and rugs were cleaned properly and neither was the bed sheets. I brought my own cleaning supplies and sheets. I had to open up the window to get the smell out due to getting a headache because of the smell. I did not reach out to the property manager of the house. However overall it was a beautiful home and I still enjoyed myself.
