This is a truly beautiful property and worth every penny! The photos aren’t able to do it justice. Everything from start to finish worked smoothly and communication was very good. A great position in the island with good local facilities. I would highly recommend.

A Place in the Sun

We thought Emmanuelle's home was exquisite. Truly a home rather than a holiday let. Impossible not to fall in love with and want to come back immediately.

We highly recommend Emmanuelle’s house. It is beautifully appointed, very well equipped, has very comfortable beds, a stunning swimming pool and landscaping. Fantastic layout, ideal for two families as we were, with plenty of space and facilities. In all our years of staying in La Couarde, this is the finest house by far.As well as the house, the driveway parking along with the terrace for the bikes is all super secure. Other facilities such as the bbq and super coffee machine make for a luxurious experience.

Lovely house in a great village and I'm sure the owners are lovely too. The only major issue we had was total radio silence from the concierge company who forgot to send us check in details, we were left outside in the 35 degree heat until they realised and pinged us the code but the concierge who was meeting us didn't turn up for 2 hours after 7pm at night. We actually thought we'd been scammed by VRBO and it was horrendously stressful. If the owner/concierge used the VRBO portal properly and sent us information via our booking agent rather than difficult to translate emails in French it would have been very helpful - not that they sent us anything at all other than a link to a pretty useless webguide with no code. I asked . When I contacted the concierge about a broken coffee machine they asked us to send a video which we did but then completely ignored us for the rest of the holiday, despite us trying to contac them.

Belle maison confortable, très bien agencée, décorée, spacieuse, espace extérieur également très bien.Proche du centre et des plages, tout était parfait.
