About this property
Ski. Hike. Stay Awhile in Big Sky
Hill Condo Escape
Mountain views, a cozy electric fireplace, and ski runs just minutes from your door. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo in the heart of Big Sky Mountain Village is your perfect basecamp for whatever the mountain has to offer.
Spend your mornings fueling up in a fully equipped kitchen, your afternoons on the slopes or trails, and your evenings unwinding by the fire with the peaks right outside your window. Step out the door and you are right in it. Fresh air, big peaks, and endless ways to fill your days - ski, hike, bike, fish, or just soak it all in.
Simple. Central. Exactly where you want to be.
Winter Big Sky Resort is the biggest skiing in America, and it earns that title every single year. With 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet of vertical drop, and an average of 400+ inches of snowfall annually, it delivers for every level of skier and rider. When you are ready to step off the slopes, the historic Lone Mountain Ranch has 85+ kilometers of groomed Nordic trails through the wilderness, voted the #1 cross-country ski resort in North America. Beyond that, Yellowstone National Park, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing, and world-class spa experiences are all within easy reach.
Summer The mountains do not slow down when the snow melts. Within minutes you have world-class fly fishing, river rafting, golf, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and zip-lining at your doorstep. Follow the scenic Gallatin River along historic Highway 191 and you are at the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park in just 45 minutes. Stay long enough and you will find free concerts, farmers markets, and weekly events scattered throughout the season.

Great condo, would love to stay again. The listing states there is one parking pass but there were two available in the unit. Could use a few more stocked toiletries (hand soap, shampoo, trash bags). Property management was easy to reach. Overall great stay, highly recommend for a trip to Big Sky.

I stayed for a week of spring skiing. The condo is super nice and well laid out. It accommodated our two-couple party perfectly. In a great location, only a 3-minute walk from the shuttle stops to take us to the mountain base. Property managers are top-notch professionals. A great choice for skiing at Big Sky.

Located just minutes away from Big Sky ski resort, this condo is an excellent choice if you love to ski. With restaurants and shops 10 minutes down the road this location makes it easy and convenient to find good eats and activities when you are not skiing. On top of all of this, the bathroom fans even have blue tooth speakers making showers that much better. We highly recommend booking your next stay here. You won't be dissapointed.

It worked well for us. Clean nice place. Would recommend others only issue is barn door in downstairs bathroom won’t stay on track and the security light upstairs bedroom will not go off and shines in the bedroom all night.

Thank you for your review! We also appreciate the feedback and will notify our team.
Not knowing the area when we booked, the details of the listing helped so much and we scored big with staying here!! Perfect size for the 3 of us, perfect location, perfect view, perfect set up!!! If and when we return this will be the condo we rent!! We had a slight stove/oven issue but they responded promptly and didn’t have any issues after. They are extremely helpful and responsive pre stay and during stay was just as much! I highly recommend this condo!! (Just don’t take the week we want!)

Wow! Thank you Shelly! We are thrilled to hear you had such a wonderful stay. It was a pleasure to host you and we hope to welcome you back any time! -Amber H
The only real problem with the unit was the temp in the downstairs bedroom. It was hot. It stayed hot. After they came to look at it, it was still hot. Leaving a fan to help was not a real solution as I could not sleep with the fan noise.
On a different note, vrbo is it's own thing. Having to deal with Stay Montana, who wants you to sign a different contract, that is not in line with the vrbo contract/policies, is very annoying. Also, I pay a cleaning fee. Being asked to do the dishes, take out the trash, etc., seems a bit much after I've paid several hundred dollars for someone else to clean. I would never leave a property a total mess so, unless I am excessively dirty, why am I paying a cleaning fee if I have to clean the place and all they do is change the sheet and put away the dishes I washed?

Response from VrboOwner on 28 April 2024
We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the temperature in the downstairs bedroom. We understand the importance of a comfortable stay and regret that our initial attempts to resolve the issue were not satisfactory. Regarding your experience with our policies and the additional tasks requested upon check-out, we apologize for any confusion or frustration this may have caused. A cleaning fee is required by most if not all VRBO rentals and our professional housekeepers are highly skilled and do much more than make the beds and put dishes away, to be clear we are just asking our guests to leave our home in a respectable manor and we apologize that didn't meet your needs. We are very clear with our additional rental agreement (which is inline with VRBO's policies) and are happy to answer any questions, concerns or to cancel reservations that have guests who do not want to participate.
Your satisfaction is important to us, and we will take your feedback into consideration to improve our services for future guests while maintaining our policies. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. Best, Summer V. Guest Service Manager
great location, comfy beds, living space on main floor is tight. Would be great to have a TV on 2nd floor with the nice couch up there
