Hobbit House - Couples Hideaway

For the fans of JR Tolkien, you now have the chance to experience Hobbit life whether it is for a weekend getaway or to embrace a different time period. Painstaking detail was taken to replicate the round doors, hand made furniture and carefully selected crafts to make this a unique experience.

The space
Please read before booking. This location offers a unique experience, however, there are several elements that guests should take into consideration:

1) LOW CEILINGS:

Gandolfs beware - The ceilings are slanted and can get as low a 5'6'' in certain areas. Most of the space is 6' and higher.

2) GUEST ACCESS:

The guests will have full privacy in the Hobbit House and have full exclusive access to the patio area. From the patio, guests can see the hosts garden, backyard and chicken area.

The backyard is NOT available for gatherings or exploration by the guests.

3) NO COOKING:

Please note that this area is 9 minutes away from very fine restaurants in Allen and 12 minutes away from downtown McKinney. Doordash, Grubhub and Uber Eats all are available in this area.

Hosts provide a coffee maker and a refrigerator - otherwise there is no capability to prepare meals inside the house.

Nice Getaway!!

The stay was excellent. The place had everything we needed however the 4 star rating for cleanliness was based on a situation we had on our last involving locating a mouse under the bed. YIKES!!!! Other than that, we had a great stay at this beautiful Hobbit House.

We had a great night. The decorations were spot-on! The ceilings are low, but my husband managed. The tub was a nice touch, but I think it leaks. The check in process was easy once we realized we were supposed to drive into someone's driveway! Overall it was an excellent experience! Thanks!

Escape from Reality

Cozy and magical! I love a good theme, so every detail to make this an authentic experience was much appreciated. It felt like we were stepping into the land of Middle-Earth. It was just what we needed. Communication was top notch. There was so much to do in the area. Great shopping and tasty restaurants!

Simply Amazing!

I surprised my husband for his birthday with this overnight stay - he could not thank me enough. This Hobbit House was absolutely precious and so much fun. There were so many delightful touches that made this place over the top! We highly recommend it!!

From the beautiful woodwork to the sun flowers of Lorién, the details are stunning. We had a wonderful time playing the trivia game, chess, watching LOTR, and petting the sweetest kitty on earth.

This was such a well-designed property perfect for a night away! The hosts were friendly, property was easy to locate, and it was accurately listed.
