Cub Cabin has Star Gazing for Outdoor Lovers. No Pets Allowed

Our Cub cabin will not disappoint if you are needing some time away from your busy lifestyle. It is nestled in the Ouachita Mountains and offers quiet solitude for refreshing your mind and spirit. We also offer a Roku TV to enjoy when you use your personal hotspot once ready to come indoors.
Our Cub cabin is off the main drag but close enough to town if you should need supplies. It is well stocked with the essentials for cooking as well with plenty of linens. There is plenty to do within minutes. There are hiking and biking trails nearby and plenty of fishing and water activities in the Ouachita area.The Lovit trail is just a few miles from the cabin. It heads at beautiful Lake Ouachita and follows the lake for a beautiful hike and is great for mountain biking too! You can launch your boat within minutes at Twin Creeks boat ramp. We have plenty of parking at Bear Den Cub Cabin, along with a place to plug up your boat to charge your batteries! There is a great fishing pier at the launch site along with a place to swim. You can visit one of the crystal mines in the area where you can dig your own crystals and keep whatever you find. Hot Springs is east of the cabin about 30 minutes. Check out Bath House Row down town. If you are in to horse racing, Oaklawn Park is a big attraction in Hot Springs. (Seasonal) If you are wanting solitude, simple stay at the cabin where you can sit around the fire pit after you have grilled on the charcoal grill. The cabin offers some great star gazing opportunities with a big open sky at night! There is something to do for everyone. Please note: No pets allowed. A minimum of $500 fee will be charged to renter if a pet is brought to our property. Our cabin is in a natural setting surrounded by woods and lakes. Like any outdoor environment, there is a variety of insects and small creatures as part of the local ecosystem. Please be mindful of this and bring any bug spray, wasp spray, etc. you may feel you need to enjoy the natural beauty of the outdoors..

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Wash and Clean all dirty dishes/put back in proper place. Fold back all used bed linens/leave on bed. Place all soiled towels, etc. on floor beside washer & dryer. Put key in lockbox upon departure.
Bag up all trash/put bags in trash barrel outside of cabin. DO NOT PLACE LOOSE TRASH INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF BARRELS. IF LOOSE TRASH IS FOUND IN BARRELS THERE WILL BE A $65 EXCESSIVE CLEANING FEE CHARGE
Set thermostat to 74 degrees during warm months & 64 during cool months Leave all remotes beside T.V. Lock all doors & windows upon departure NO PETS OR SMOKING OR A $500 MINIMUM FEE WILL BE CHARGED
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We value all renters wanting to crystal mine but appreciate them not dumping any crystals at our property or $100 excessive cleaning will be charged.
