Homewood Suites Review

Location is great for visiting National Mall and Smithsonian museums. Lodging was average to disappointing. Scarce breakfast in the morning, chaotic, few places to sit to eat, picked over and not restocked. Pool was closed which my 3 children were looking forward to. Had I known it was closed I would have booked somewhere else. Rooms were spacious and great to have kitchenette. Overall clean rooms and bathrooms. Likely wouldn’t return here.

Comfortable and Quiet

We had a very nice stay in the hotel. The only confusion is the billing process with this hotel. VRBO apparently views the payment as a 'deposit.' The hotel will charge you the full rate, which, at first, looks like you are being billed twice. I haven't yet received a refund, but I'm assured that I will. I wanted to wait until after this was sorted out for the review, but VRBO will expire the link prior to that.
